Graduating from the University of Illinois, Russell left Chicago to begin work in film production in Los Angeles. He worked his way up, assistant directing and production managing independent films while writing screenplays. Russell made his directorial debut in 1987 with A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors. At that time, New Line Cinema was uncertain about the future of the Elm Street franchise. Russell convinced them that the series could take a step further into Freddy's nightmare world through cutting edge visual effects and dramatize the bond among Freddy's youthful victims with the concept of Dream Warriors. The success of the film redefined the franchise for New Line, earning more at the box office than the first two films put together. At the time of its release A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors was the highest grossing independent film ever made. The next milestone in Russell's career was The Mask, a worldwide blockbuster that grossed more than $320 million on a $18 million dollar budget. The Mask made international stars out of Jim Carrey and Cameron Diaz and set a new standard in CGI technology. Russell continued his success in Hollywood, making #1 box office hits with A list stars such as Eraser with Arnold Schwarzenegger, The Scorpion King with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Collateral, starring Tom Cruise and Jamie Fox. Russell latest film, Paradise City unites John Travolta and Bruce Willis for the first time since Pulp Fiction and is slated for a worldwide release this summer.- American actress and performer Dyanne Thorne began her career in show business as a band vocalist and New York stage actress. Francine's career started in photography, modeling for national publications, traveling throughout in the Midwest, Toronto & Montreal. She began working in commercials & industrial training films, booking roles on Chicago productions, like Early Edition and Chicago Story, and played opposite Tom Cruise in Risky Business.
Although her acting career began in her hometown of Chicago, it blossomed in the south. With a successful print and commercial career under her belt, she took a 10 year hiatus, and then got back into the industry with a bang, winning a Best Supporting nomination on her first film, and then booking the lead role in the award winning feature film, "Stand your Ground".
Having fallen in love with the South while on location, she soon moved to the Atlanta area and booked the recurring role of Sandra Barkley (Avery's mom) on CMT's Nashville. Roles on Necessary Roughness, The Originals, The Dream Factory, Halt and Catch Fire followed, but her favorite was a viral transformation on Fox's The Passage.
She has had many lead and supporting roles in a number of feature films, including Mine 9, Christmas Ranch, Keys to the City, Charlies Christmas Wish, Calm Before, Modern Prodigal (also produced) and Circles (pilot) where she was in her essence as a strong, battle weary, never-again-victim, fighting against unknown invaders.
Along with her success in front of the camera, Locke has taken on the role of Producer, in order to have a more active role in the stories she tells. "As an actress, you train and work, and pretty much have to just wait to get hired. I am not very good at waiting, I believe in challenging myself, and doing what has to be done, not waiting for someone else. And when I don't know how to do something, I can always learn, what's life without challenges?" With this in mind, she started ElFilm Productions, LLC (named for her mother), produced several short films, won some awards, and has produced her first feature film, Modern Prodigal, which was immediately picked up for distribution by Bridgestone Multimedia Group, and is available on Amazon.
Her goal is to make good films about real people, who make mistakes and hopefully learn from them. "I want to make people think, see another perspective, remember moments, and maybe even set them up to make better choices."
She recently optioned a 2 book series by award winning author Deborah Raney, and hopes to be in production before the end of 2020.- Actor

Who is this guy?
Adam Dick has over fifteen years of experience in screenwriting and independent filmmaking, from development through distribution. He is serious about his craft, is always learning, and retains a sense of humor because it helps keep him (and everyone on set) sane.
Where did this guy come from? What's he done?
Originally working in his home Chicagoland area, Adam produced a series of micro-budget projects before co-writing and producing the narrative feature "NightLights," starring Shawna Waldron and Stephen Louis Grush, about a young woman who cares for an adult brother on the autism spectrum. The film earned him, the lead cast and fellow filmmakers praise from publications such as the Los Angeles Times and LA Weekly, and subsequently won a 2015 PRISM Award along with several festival accolades. It made its prime time television premiere on the LMN Network, Easter Sunday 2015.
Adam took his experience on "NightLights" and other projects to Los Angeles, where he continued to write, direct short films, and collaborate as a producer. This ultimately led him to write and produce his feature directorial debut with 2019's "Teacher," starring David Dastmalchian and Kevin Pollak. The film currently holds a 100% among critics on Rotten Tomatoes. In addition, it was named LA Weekly's Critics' Pick of the Week and was lauded by the LA Times as "a tense and propulsive thriller with several vital, provocatively rendered thoughts on its seething mind."
What's this guy doing now?
Adam has also built an impressive list of screenwriting competition credentials, including Finalist placements with Stage 32 & ScreenCraft and two semi-finalist placements with the Austin Film Festival. Committed as always to supporting fellow artists' work, Adam is currently an Executive Producer on Jessica Rae's narrative feature "Raise Your Hand," which is completing its festival run, including at the prestigious 25th annual American Black Film Festival.
Adam continues to write and develop feature film and television projects. He is a fervent collaborator, a science and sci-fi lover, and has come to believe that he can cook.
Articles about Adam and his work have appeared in publications such as Variety, Deadline, the Wrap, the Los Angeles Times, LA Weekly, Flickering Myth, and Collider, among others. He has a master's in writing from DePaul University and a BA in English from Lake Forest College.
