The one line from the trailer that struck me: 'I'm not afraid of how tough life gets; I'm afraid I won't be a good dad.' As a father, this really hit home. Tradition always says that a dad is a role model for their children, and that pressure is no joke. It reminds me of Chow Yun-fat's 'A Better Tomorrow.' Men may have a wandering nature, maybe due to life's indifference or disappointments, but when it comes to our children, without a doubt, we as fathers always hope to be the heroes, the role models they can learn from. Chow Yun-fat's character, just like Wen Shenghao, turned his life around. Although there weren't many scenes with the goddess Shao Yuwei, it doesn't diminish the emotional intensity of this father-son-focused film.
