Usually who done it dramas on TV fizzle out and the ending is weak or implausible. This drama was the opposite it starts of quite slow and the central characters are mostly dour Scots with very thick accents meaning I didn't catch every word. But there was nothing else on TV so I ended up watching episode 2 (including a few rewinds to work out what was being said) and 3 back to back. The ending was most unexpected and well worked out by Karen Pirie. It was not a rushed ending and believable as it was not a happy one, if there is another series I think the writer should make Karen a bit more cheerful.
