I heard about this film from my friend in Canada and he recommended me to watch. I went with my family yesterday at Lenin Cinemas. It didn't disappoint me at all..
I was balling...I could very well relate Rameshan to any family man struggling to keep the ducks in a row. The director has done precise detailing to portray his love and affection for the family. Manikandan is a gem of the kind. Though in limited appearances, his wife's reaction in the police station was stupendous. I was looking at the director's profile and it's highly impressive. I had watched his previous productions in Jaihind. No wonder his movie debut holds par excellence. This movie is highly recommended: real life of an average man, commitments to his family, crisp detailing of the story line, wonderful cinematography, political beaurocray in law and order, and struggles of an NRI. I have visited many places across the world. I understand how handicapped people are given priority and support by society and the system. On this side of the world they are not out of the hook. Also, they are matter of exploitation in our society- a very disturbing reality. Thanks to you, Sujith- you tried very best to detial it all. We expect many more movies from you..
