Promising Start, But Faltering Finish: A One-Time Watch
4 January 2025
The movie begins on a promising note, much like Forensic, with an engaging focus on a sketch artist and intricately presented details. The first half sets up an intriguing premise, drawing the audience into its narrative. However, the momentum diminishes in the second half, where the story loses its grip. An unnecessary and overdramatic plane-ending scene felt out of place and detracted from the overall impact. The film also suffers from a stretched runtime, with the inclusion of unnecessary characters and subplots aimed at creating twists but ending up feeling forced and redundant. While it has its moments, the film ultimately falls short of expectations. It's a decent one-time watch, best suited for a casual viewing experience on an OTT platform.
