Aaron's path to the entertainment industry was far from traditional. At 18, he enlisted in the United States Army and began his service with boot camp at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. Over nearly six years, he was stationed at Camp Humphreys in Korea, Fort Huachuca in Arizona, and Fort Sill in Oklahoma, where he trained soldiers. His roles included supply sergeant, small arms repair technician, and physical fitness instructor, overseeing the fitness testing of over 250 soldiers in 8-week intervals for more than three years.
In 2001, Aaron transitioned to the United States Air Force, where he continued to serve until 2016. His assignments included Travis Air Force Base in California, Osan Air Base in Korea, Yokota Air Base in Japan, and Holloman Air Force Base in New Mexico, before concluding his service back at Travis AFB. Aaron was deployed eight times in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.
After 21 years of honorable service, Aaron retired with numerous awards, including the Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal, Air Force Achievement Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, and Meritorious Unit Commendation, among others.
