Gar Reid is a singer-songwriter, as well as a film, theatre and voice over actor. He is the lead singer of Eclecticus, a five-piece original rock band from Toronto, Canada.
Notable works includes releasing four albums Eclecticus 1 (2009, Uplaya Records, The Orchard), Hole Hearted (2012), So Illogical (2018), Take Me Away (2020), and Five Point 0 (2021 - EP).
Acting work: He was a principal actor (Innkeeper) for Alexander Singers and Players (ASAP) in Fiddler on the Roof theatrical production (2006-2007) to 10 sold out shows at Leah Posluns Theatre. He is a voice-over actor for commercial clients. Also, Gar was recently cast as the Skinhead for the film adaptation of Stephen King's short story "Willa" (to be released in 2019 in the international film festival circuit), directed by Corey Mayne and produced by Barbara Szeman. Willa's World Premiere will be with the prestigious LA Shorts International Film Festival in July 2019.
