Gabo Augustine

New York native, Gabo Augustine, first discovered his love for acting in middle school at the Allen-Stevenson School's Gilbert & Sullivan and Shakespeare productions, and later after attending an intensive seminar with Lee Strasberg. He then attended high school at Manhattan's prestigious Professional Performing Arts School where he continued to hone his craft. While in school, Gabo transitioned to the stage, performing with several theaters around New York City including The Public Theater, where he portrayed the role of "Ferdinando" in The Tempest.
Most recently, Gabo wrapped filming a guest lead in the Hulu pilot Crash and Burn and Comedy Central's Awkwafina. He was also seen in a guest appearance on Netflix's first season of The OA (2016). In film, Gabo will next be seen in his feature debut in a supporting lead role as Ishmael opposite Oscar Winner Julianne Moore and Academy Award Nominee Ken Watanabe in Paul Weitz's and Anthony Weintraub's independent film adaptation of Ann Patchett's best-selling novel of the same name, Bel Canto (2018).
When Gabo is not acting he is an undergraduate student at USC School of Dramatic Arts.
