Riley Keough takes in Cinespia’s outdoor screening of the cult classic, True Romance, at Hollywood Forever Cemetery on Saturday (August 10).

The 35-year-old actress was accompanied by her husband Ben, father Danny and best friend, actress Georgie Flores.

Riley is the granddaughter the legendary Elvis Presley, whose name and likeness is peppered throughout the True Romance.

The main character Clarence, played by Christian Slater, hallucinates Elvis as a sort of guardian angel. He even recites one of the most famous lines of the film to his love interest Alabama, played by Patricia Arquette: “I always said, if I had To f— a guy, I mean had to, if my life depended on it, I’d f— Elvis.”

The LA Lakers game on April 28 brought out lots of stars, including actor Jack Nicholson. The longtime Lakers fan has limited his public appearances in recent years, but seeing his favorite team face off against the Memphis Grizzlies in playoff Game 6 led to him returning to the stadium. His appearance marked his first time at a game since October 2021, as reported by journalist Rachel Nichols.

Other Angle Pictures has acquired the international rights to the film.

For the launch of “18 & Over,” an indie horror film starring, produced by and co-created by Ashley Benson (“Pretty Little Liars”), the producers are granting an exclusive two-month streaming window to fans who buy one of 10,000 limited-edition NFTs with character art based on the movie.

The movie is the first project under Peele’s first-look deal with Universal Pictures, which he signed with his Monkeypaw Productions last spring. “Get Out” opened No. 1 at the domestic box office last year on its way to grossing $255.5 million worldwide. It scored glowing reviews and an Oscar best picture nomination, with Peele winning the best original screenplay Academy Award for the thriller.
