A bicultural Mexican-American filmmaker, Octavio travels between Los Angeles, New York and México City working on productions for Netflix, Warner Bros, 20th Century Studios, and Lionsgate Films.
Ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, he Directed and Produced "Family Affair, The Believers" for FIFA+ And Coca Cola's Creator Network Series.
He art directed and animated for the Netflix feature "Como caído del Cielo", the most streamed film in México and #7 most popular international title in the U.S. in 2019.
His art direction for internationally-acclaimed artists like Becky G, Tini, Anita, Lelepons, and Vadhir Derbez, has garnered millions of views across multiple platforms.
Octavio produced the Berlinale Talents short "Loving South," which was selected for Morelia International Film Festival and the Cannes Short Film Corner; he also placed as a Finalist for the Pantelion Screenwriting Contest Scholarship, the ScreenCraft Pilot Launch TV Script Contest and the ScreenCraft Animation Competition.
