BART SOROCZYNSKI is a Canadian actor who's extensive credits range from Quebec's Contemporary Circus to the stages of the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford, the English National Opera in London, and Switzerland's National Theatres.
He grew up in Montreal, has worked in Canada, Argentina, France, Switzerland and England. He recently appeared on stage in the UK tour of Sally Cookson's adaptation of Fellini's 'La Strada' as Il Matto (The Fool), 'Katharina Knie' and 'The Vast Domain', both with Theatre St Gallen in Switzerland and prior to that as Baron Tuzenbach in Checkhov's 'Three Sisters' at the Cockpit Theatre in London. He played various roles in 'Benvenuto Cellini' at the English National Opera directed by Terry Gilliam and Leah Hausman and prior to that Doctor Caius in 'The Merry Wives of Windsor' and in 'The Mouse And His Child' both for the Royal Shakespeare Company.
Other stage credits include, 'Tell Them That I Am Young and Beautiful', with Kathryn Hunter and Patrice Niaimbana, directed by Marcello Magni at the Arcola Theatre; 'Trinculo and Ferdinand' in The Tempest and 'Somewhere La Mancha' with the Irina Brook Theatre Company. For several years he took the lead in the world tour of 'Nomade' directed by Daniele Finzi Pasca for Cirque Eloize.
Bart's film appearances include, 'Son of a Fool'(Michael Finger), 'Magique'(Philippe Muyl), 'Goldfish' and ' Nomade : At Night The Sky Is Endless'(Pierre Séguin).
He will soon be seen as Stebbins in 'Fantastic Beasts 2: The Crimes of Grindelwald' by J.K. Rowling directed by David Yates.
Bart is fluent in English, French, Polish and Spanish.
