When Logan (Hugh Jackman) and the Merc With a Mouth (Ryan Reynolds) are banished to the Void by Mr. Paradox (Matthew Macfadyen) in Deadpool and Wolverine, they discover that a group of Multiverse Variants have banded together to make a stand against Cassandra Nova (Emma Corrin).

Joining Elektra (Jennifer Garner), X-23 (Dafne Keen) and Channing Tatum as Gambit is none other than Blade, played once again by Snipes.

With Mahershala Ali set to take over the role for the upcoming Marvel Studios reboot (the project was recently taken off Marvel's slate but is still said to be very much alive), it was assumed that Snipes' return was more than likely a one-off, but scooper Mttsh is now reporting that the original big-screen Daywalker will be back, and "sooner than we think."

Pretty much every movie ever made has at least a few deleted scenes, but blockbusters are notorious for slicing scenes out of their final cuts. More often than not, they're scenes that will never see the light of day, because they're sequences that were changed so drastically that producers would rather not show how the sausage was made by revealing the awful version of the much more polished scene that actually ended up in the film. But then there are scenes that are innocuous enough that they end up on the bonus features of a home media release, and you'll understand why those scenes ended up on the cutting room floor (or in the digital trash bin).

"Deadpool & Wolverine" has a few of the latter, and since the R-rated Marvel Studios production featuring Ryan Reynolds as the Merc with a Mouth and Hugh Jackman as a different version of Wolverine arrived on digital today,...

Deadpool and Wolverine is now available to purchase on Digital platforms ahead of its 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD release on October 22, and Fandango has released an extended preview of Marvel Studios' first R-rated movie.

We're sure the majority of you have seen the film at this stage, but just in case you decided to skip it in theaters, this 4:36 clip should give you a pretty good idea of what to expect.

The sneak peek begins with Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds) arriving back to the Tva with "the worst Wolverine" (Hugh Jackman) in the hopes of replacing his universe's anchor being (the variant of the X-Man that died at the end of Logan). Mr. Paradox scoffs at the idea, before sending them both to the Void.

As AC/DC's "Hell's Bells" ring out, Deadpool and Wolverine prepare to tear each other to pieces.

Tara Strong's Miss Minutes became an instant hit with fans when she first appeared in Loki season 1, but it was the finale's jump scare in The Citadel at the End of Time which left a lasting impression. 

Established as a villain serving He Who Remains, the Time Variance Authority's mascot became a full-blown antagonist in season 2 and went off the deep end when she confessed her love to Victor Timely. Created by Kang as his A.I. assistant, Miss Minutes eventually turned on her master but was then reset by O.B. and essentially restored to factory settings. 

We last saw her back to helping out the Tva, though there were still some questions about whether she could be trusted. With Mr. Paradox going into business for himself in Deadpool & Wolverine, there was no sign of Miss Minutes there...a shame when you think about how fun those character interactions would have been!

‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ is the MCU’s latest release and has quickly become one of the most successful entries in recent years. A significant part of its success comes from the clever use of cameos and numerous easter eggs throughout the film.

In one particular scene, Tva’s Mr. Paradox shows Deadpool a screen where Thor is seen crying, hunched over Deadpool’s display. Mr. Paradox quickly changes the scene, saying Deadpool wasn’t supposed to see that.

Although Reynolds has hinted that he knows the reason behind Thor’s tears, he has yet to share it publicly, leading many to frequently ask Chris Hemsworth about the scene.

In a recent interview with Black Girl Nerds, Hemsworth was once again asked about this particular moment. He mentioned that the explanation will likely be revealed in the future.

For a movie that marks Deadpool's Marvel Cinematic Universe debut, there's actually not a whole lot of MCU in "Deadpool & Wolverine." If you don't count Ant Man's skull or a Hulk that may or may not be Mark Ruffalo's version, the only two MCU cameos in "Deadpool & Wolverine" are Jon Favreau's Happy Hogan and Chris Hemsworth's Thor.

This is a movie that, as /Film's Chris Evangelista put it, can be quite accurately described as a "disappointing cameo-fest." "Deadpool & Wolverine" is an ode to the very idea of the cameo itself, bringing in hordes of former 20th Century Fox Marvel stars alongside various "What If"-style guest appearances such as Henry Cavill's "Cavill-rine" and Channing Tatum's Gambit. You'd think that in such a movie, which also happens to be Deadpool's first official MCU outing, we would have gotten more from the Marvel Studios side of things.

Channing Tatum was given the opportunity to take on the role of Gambit in Deadpool and Wolverine, after originally missing out on playing the heroic mutant when Disney acquired 20th Century Fox's assets and brought the studio's X-Men franchise to an end.

Tatum made his MCU debut as Remy LeBeau in the Void, joining Elektra, Blade, and X-23 as members of the Resistance Wade Wilson and Logan encountered when they were stranded by Mr. Paradox.

Earlier today, Ryan Reynolds shared a deleted scene from the movie which strongly hinted that Gambit will be making his way to Earth-616 via a "Marvel Sparkle Circle" at some point.

Tatum has spoken about how much he'd love the chance to reprise the role, but is it really something the majority of fans want to see?

Deadpool & Wolverine underwent reshoots earlier this year and, as far as we're aware, those took place for the usual tinkering Marvel Studios does on its movies during post-production. 

It's inevitable that some changes were made, though, and one major alteration has been revealed by reliable runtime and trailer leaker @Cryptic4KQual. 

They reveal, "Originally, Cassandra thought that her brother, Charles Xavier, was the one who put her in the Void. When she confronts Paradox, she finds out it was actually the Tva. Reshoots changed this."

This is significant because Deadpool & Wolverine established that Cassandra Nova and the Tva had an unspoken deal; she would remain in The Void and they would continue sending her pruned Variants to feed to Alioth. 

When Mr. Paradox tasked Pyro with killing the powerful mutant, a vengeful Cassandra set out to use the Time Ripper to destroy every single reality in existence, leaving only The Void behind.

"Deadpool & Wolverine" has been the dominant force in the larger pop cultural conversation for the better part of a month now. It's not hard to see why, as audiences waited six years to see Ryan Reynolds return as the Merc with a Mouth, and they waited a whole lot longer to see him unite on screen with Hugh Jackman's Wolverine for a proper team-up. It's gone well, so much so that it now ranks as the biggest R-rated movie in history. Well, it turns out even more R-rated goods were left on the cutting room floor. Multiple projects with a multiversal focus have been produced since Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Naturally, this meant that the franchise's worlds and alternate realities would collide in upcoming phases.

As Mr. Paradox explained, an anchor being is crucial to the survival of a universe within the multiverse. As long as the anchor being is alive, that timeline remains stable. However, if the anchor being dies, the timeline begins to decay and will eventually be destroyed, a process that can take anywhere from a single day to thousands of years.

Deadpool 3 went through several different iterations before becoming Deadpool & Wolverine, with Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Logelin originally hired by Marvel Studios to pen the screenplay in 2020.

Later, Deadpool and Deadpool 2 scribes Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick boarded the threequel alongside Zeb Wells (star Ryan Reynolds and director Shawn Levy were also credited as writers). 

It's no huge surprise then that the movie's story went through multiple changes, and we now have details on Deadpool & Wolverine's original direction which may explain some of those very early plot leaks. 

"The movie was supposed to start with the Tva arresting Wade for messing with Cable's time machine," explains scooper @MyTimeToShineH. "While he's in their prison, he overhears that the Tva is looking to recruit Anchor Beings from across the multiverse to create an army to fight the Kangs, and they were supposed to be searching for a version of Logan.

Director Shawn Levy along with Deadpool actor, Ryan Reynolds did not shy away from discussing cameos and spoilers for future projects. One such what if was about the introduction of another popular actor as a villain in the movie way before Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine was signed on.

In the movie's closing moments, Nova sets out to use Mr. Paradox's Time-Ripper to destroy every reality in existence, leaving only The Void behind. It's a plan which puts her on the same level as MCU big bads like Thanos and Kang, but does she survive the explosion which follows thanks to Deadpool and Wolverine's intervention?

Marvel Studios has often been pretty hit-and-miss when it comes to its villains, but between the smarmy Mr. Paradox and insanely dangerous Cassandra Nova, it's fair to say Deadpool & Wolverine delivers.

Talking to GQ, Emma Corrin was asked how it felt to kill Chris Evans during his first MCU appearance since 2019's Avengers: Endgame. 

"Absoooolutely mad," they admitted. "I felt so bad when we were in the screening the other day. Because we watched it after the New York premiere with all these Lincoln Center full of fans, and everyone was so excited when they see him appear on screen, and then after three minutes, I've killed him. Now, Guinness World Records has announced that Snipes holds the record for longest career as a live action Marvel character, narrowly beating Hugh Jackman. Funnily enough, Jackman's return for Deadpool and Wolverine meant he technically held the record – right up until Snipes appeared on screen!

While Deadpool & Wolverine ended up being surprisingly standalone (and a celebration of the Fox-verse rather than its demise), there were definitely some hints about where the MCU goes next.

One of the biggest came when Mr. Paradox inadvertently gave Wade Wilson a glimpse into his future; on a screen in the Tva, we saw Chris Hemsworth's Thor cradling the fallen Deadpool. The villain was quick to switch it off, but the Merc with the Mouth spent the rest of the movie wondering what had left the God of Thunder in tears.

Paradox has already alluded to Deadpool having an important future on the Sacred Timeline, with Hunter B-15 later doing the same (this time with regards to Deadpool and Wolverine).

It’s poised to generate $195 million to $205 million domestically and roughly $380 million to $400 million globally through Sunday.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is one of the most prolific film franchises of all time with 34 installments over 15 years. The comic book giant has delivered an unprecedented string of blockbusters since its inception with 2008’s “Iron Man,” including “Avengers: Endgame” ($2.799 billion) and “Infinity War” ($2.05 billion), standing as two of the highest-grossing movies ever.
