"There's only been one Blade. Only ever gonna be one Blade."
When Logan (Hugh Jackman) and the Merc With a Mouth (Ryan Reynolds) are banished to the Void by Mr. Paradox (Matthew Macfadyen) in Deadpool and Wolverine, they discover that a group of Multiverse Variants have banded together to make a stand against Cassandra Nova (Emma Corrin).
Joining Elektra (Jennifer Garner), X-23 (Dafne Keen) and Channing Tatum as Gambit is none other than Blade, played once again by Snipes.
With Mahershala Ali set to take over the role for the upcoming Marvel Studios reboot (the project was recently taken off Marvel's slate but is still said to be very much alive), it was assumed that Snipes' return was more than likely a one-off, but scooper Mttsh is now reporting that the original big-screen Daywalker will be back, and "sooner than we think."

Pretty much every movie ever made has at least a few deleted scenes, but blockbusters are notorious for slicing scenes out of their final cuts. More often than not, they're scenes that will never see the light of day, because they're sequences that were changed so drastically that producers would rather not show how the sausage was made by revealing the awful version of the much more polished scene that actually ended up in the film. But then there are scenes that are innocuous enough that they end up on the bonus features of a home media release, and you'll understand why those scenes ended up on the cutting room floor (or in the digital trash bin).
"Deadpool & Wolverine" has a few of the latter, and since the R-rated Marvel Studios production featuring Ryan Reynolds as the Merc with a Mouth and Hugh Jackman as a different version of Wolverine arrived on digital today,...

Deadpool and Wolverine is now available to purchase on Digital platforms ahead of its 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD release on October 22, and Fandango has released an extended preview of Marvel Studios' first R-rated movie.
We're sure the majority of you have seen the film at this stage, but just in case you decided to skip it in theaters, this 4:36 clip should give you a pretty good idea of what to expect.
The sneak peek begins with Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds) arriving back to the Tva with "the worst Wolverine" (Hugh Jackman) in the hopes of replacing his universe's anchor being (the variant of the X-Man that died at the end of Logan). Mr. Paradox scoffs at the idea, before sending them both to the Void.
As AC/DC's "Hell's Bells" ring out, Deadpool and Wolverine prepare to tear each other to pieces.

Tara Strong's Miss Minutes became an instant hit with fans when she first appeared in Loki season 1, but it was the finale's jump scare in The Citadel at the End of Time which left a lasting impression.
Established as a villain serving He Who Remains, the Time Variance Authority's mascot became a full-blown antagonist in season 2 and went off the deep end when she confessed her love to Victor Timely. Created by Kang as his A.I. assistant, Miss Minutes eventually turned on her master but was then reset by O.B. and essentially restored to factory settings.
We last saw her back to helping out the Tva, though there were still some questions about whether she could be trusted. With Mr. Paradox going into business for himself in Deadpool & Wolverine, there was no sign of Miss Minutes there...a shame when you think about how fun those character interactions would have been!

‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ is the MCU’s latest release and has quickly become one of the most successful entries in recent years. A significant part of its success comes from the clever use of cameos and numerous easter eggs throughout the film.
In one particular scene, Tva’s Mr. Paradox shows Deadpool a screen where Thor is seen crying, hunched over Deadpool’s display. Mr. Paradox quickly changes the scene, saying Deadpool wasn’t supposed to see that.
Although Reynolds has hinted that he knows the reason behind Thor’s tears, he has yet to share it publicly, leading many to frequently ask Chris Hemsworth about the scene.
In a recent interview with Black Girl Nerds, Hemsworth was once again asked about this particular moment. He mentioned that the explanation will likely be revealed in the future.

When we got a first blurry look at Deadpool & Wolverine's Variants, the hope was that Marvel Studios had tapped the original actors to reprise their roles.
That wasn't the case, unfortunately, but with Cassandra Nova's army used largely as cannon fodder, it was probably for the best because fans would have hated seeing X2: X-Men United star Kelly Hu, for example, wasted as Lady Deathstrike.
Stunt performer Jade Lye plays the villain in her place and concept artist Jonay Bacallado has now shared a closer look at his design for Deathstrike's new MCU costume.
"Lady Deathstrike being one of Cassandra’s henchmen made totally sense when we learnt she was coming back to the MCU," he explains. "She has Adamantium nails and often fought Wolverine in the past, as in X2 from the X-Men movies. Pruned by the Tva, now she’s part of Cassandra’s team in the Void.

One particular scene from Deadpool & Wolverine has captured fans’ attention for its exceptional execution. It was so well done that even the most vocal VFX critics couldn’t help but praise it, as we’ll explore later in the article.
In a recently released video, Swen Gillberg, the VFX Supervisor for the film, detailed how they created the scenes where Cassandra Nova’s hands pass through the faces of other characters, most notably Paradox. This sequence was one of the most impressive VFX moments in the entire movie, and here’s what he shared:
One of the highlight scenes of hands through face would be seen with Cassandra’s hands going through Mr. Paradox’s face. You literally see every pore on his face. Its fantastic effects, very, very cringe worthy. In our development process, we played with different skin thicknesses and I liked it thinner because we actually want...

Deadpool & Wolverine was, for many fans, the most anticipated movie of the year. The movie, which is presently still running in theaters and stars Hugh Jackman as Wolverine and Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool, was everything the fans expected. The movie is still doing great in theaters and is bringing Marvel a lot of money, which is why we’re still discussing it.
So far, we have generally discussed the Easter Eggs and the theories related to the movie, but there is one technical aspect that we’ve only hinted at, and that is the special effects. Some scenes were criticized and the movie was, in general, described as relying too much on CGI, but there is a catch there.

Who would have thought that Cassandra Nova’s debut in the MCU would bring two iconic heroes together? Deadpool & Wolverine garnered widespread acclaim for its impressive superhero team-up against a formidable villain. However, it left us in awe of Nova’s mind-bending abilities, which were meticulously portrayed on screen.

For a movie that marks Deadpool's Marvel Cinematic Universe debut, there's actually not a whole lot of MCU in "Deadpool & Wolverine." If you don't count Ant Man's skull or a Hulk that may or may not be Mark Ruffalo's version, the only two MCU cameos in "Deadpool & Wolverine" are Jon Favreau's Happy Hogan and Chris Hemsworth's Thor.
This is a movie that, as /Film's Chris Evangelista put it, can be quite accurately described as a "disappointing cameo-fest." "Deadpool & Wolverine" is an ode to the very idea of the cameo itself, bringing in hordes of former 20th Century Fox Marvel stars alongside various "What If"-style guest appearances such as Henry Cavill's "Cavill-rine" and Channing Tatum's Gambit. You'd think that in such a movie, which also happens to be Deadpool's first official MCU outing, we would have gotten more from the Marvel Studios side of things.

Channing Tatum was given the opportunity to take on the role of Gambit in Deadpool and Wolverine, after originally missing out on playing the heroic mutant when Disney acquired 20th Century Fox's assets and brought the studio's X-Men franchise to an end.
Tatum made his MCU debut as Remy LeBeau in the Void, joining Elektra, Blade, and X-23 as members of the Resistance Wade Wilson and Logan encountered when they were stranded by Mr. Paradox.
Earlier today, Ryan Reynolds shared a deleted scene from the movie which strongly hinted that Gambit will be making his way to Earth-616 via a "Marvel Sparkle Circle" at some point.
Tatum has spoken about how much he'd love the chance to reprise the role, but is it really something the majority of fans want to see?

Deadpool & Wolverine underwent reshoots earlier this year and, as far as we're aware, those took place for the usual tinkering Marvel Studios does on its movies during post-production.
It's inevitable that some changes were made, though, and one major alteration has been revealed by reliable runtime and trailer leaker @Cryptic4KQual.
They reveal, "Originally, Cassandra thought that her brother, Charles Xavier, was the one who put her in the Void. When she confronts Paradox, she finds out it was actually the Tva. Reshoots changed this."
This is significant because Deadpool & Wolverine established that Cassandra Nova and the Tva had an unspoken deal; she would remain in The Void and they would continue sending her pruned Variants to feed to Alioth.
When Mr. Paradox tasked Pyro with killing the powerful mutant, a vengeful Cassandra set out to use the Time Ripper to destroy every single reality in existence, leaving only The Void behind.

"Deadpool & Wolverine" has been the dominant force in the larger pop cultural conversation for the better part of a month now. It's not hard to see why, as audiences waited six years to see Ryan Reynolds return as the Merc with a Mouth, and they waited a whole lot longer to see him unite on screen with Hugh Jackman's Wolverine for a proper team-up. It's gone well, so much so that it now ranks as the biggest R-rated movie in history. Well, it turns out even more R-rated goods were left on the cutting room floor. Namely, a hilariously gross scene involving Rob Delaney's Peter.

MCU Heroes Who Saved the Multiverse More Times than We Can Count - Main Image
Multiple projects with a multiversal focus have been produced since Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Naturally, this meant that the franchise's worlds and alternate realities would collide in upcoming phases.
Phase Six of the MCU is set to conclude with the release of Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars but before these films hit cinemas,
let's list down all the MCU heroes who saved the multiverse on more than one occasion.
Unsurprisingly, several heroes have saved the multiverse on their own.

You probably already know Captain Carter from Guardians of the Multiverse if you've seen What If seasons one and two. Captain Carter is shown repeatedly saving the universe multiple times, and taking down villains on her own in What If Season Two.

Deadpool & Wolverine was recently released, shattering box office records and delighting fans globally. The movie’s success largely stems from its heavy dose of fan service, with cameos and humor being its standout features.
While the film does have a plot, it’s fairly thin and filled with plot holes and timeline inconsistencies, staying true to the MCU’s signature style. However, it did introduce one new concept to the MCU—the anchor being.
As Mr. Paradox explained, an anchor being is crucial to the survival of a universe within the multiverse. As long as the anchor being is alive, that timeline remains stable. However, if the anchor being dies, the timeline begins to decay and will eventually be destroyed, a process that can take anywhere from a single day to thousands of years.

‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ was recently released and the movie is breaking box office records, entertaining fans worldwide. Much of the movie’s success was owed to fan service because the cameos and jokes are the strongest aspects of the movie.
The movie did have a plot, but it’s paper thin and riddled with plot holes and timeline contradictions in a true MCU style, it also introduced one new phenomenon to the MCU – the anchor being.
As Mr. Paradox explained it, an anchor being is a being that is vital to the survival of the universe in a multiversal sense. As long as the anchor being is alive that specific timeline is thriving, if the anchor is dead, the timeline starts decaying until it’s eventually permanently destroyed. Deadpool 3 went through several different iterations before becoming Deadpool & Wolverine, with Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Logelin originally hired by Marvel Studios to pen the screenplay in 2020.
Later, Deadpool and Deadpool 2 scribes Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick boarded the threequel alongside Zeb Wells (star Ryan Reynolds and director Shawn Levy were also credited as writers).
It's no huge surprise then that the movie's story went through multiple changes, and we now have details on Deadpool & Wolverine's original direction which may explain some of those very early plot leaks.
"The movie was supposed to start with the Tva arresting Wade for messing with Cable's time machine," explains scooper @MyTimeToShineH. "While he's in their prison, he overhears that the Tva is looking to recruit Anchor Beings from across the multiverse to create an army to fight the Kangs, and they were supposed to be searching for a version of Logan.

“Deadpool & Wolverine” was released just over a week ago, smashing box-office records and garnering critical acclaim. The movie marks Wolverine’s and Deadpool’s debut in the MCU, along with the return of legacy Marvel characters like Garner’s Elektra, Snipes’ Blade, and Evans’ Human Torch.
Among these legacy characters is X-23 from the Fox X-Men franchise, portrayed by Dafne Keen. Despite Keen’s repeated denials about her involvement, her role was revealed just days before the movie’s worldwide premiere.
Including X-23 in the movie made perfect sense, given her significant role in ‘Logan’ (2017) and the numerous references to that film in ‘Deadpool & Wolverine.’ In the latest ‘Deadpool’ installment, we see an all-grown-up X-23, with Dafne Keen confirming in her recent appearance on Phase Zero that the MCU version is the same character we saw in ‘Logan.’

It made all the sense in the world for X-23 to be in the movie considering her significant role in ‘Logan’ released in 2017 and the fact that the events of the movie are heavily referenced in ‘Deadpool & Wolverine.’ The latest ‘Deadpool’ installment sees Keen’s X-23 all grown up, and the actress...

On the page, Cassandra Nova is one of the X-Men's greatest enemies. The immensely powerful twin sister of Professor X has dismantled the team from within and even orchestrated the destruction of Genosha (which resulted in the deaths of countless mutants).
Deadpool & Wolverine's take on the character is every bit as formidable, though we learn that this Variant was sent to The Void as a baby and now chooses to remain there...much to the relief of the Tva.
In the movie's closing moments, Nova sets out to use Mr. Paradox's Time-Ripper to destroy every reality in existence, leaving only The Void behind. It's a plan which puts her on the same level as MCU big bads like Thanos and Kang, but does she survive the explosion which follows thanks to Deadpool and Wolverine's intervention?

Marvel Studios has often been pretty hit-and-miss when it comes to its villains, but between the smarmy Mr. Paradox and insanely dangerous Cassandra Nova, it's fair to say Deadpool & Wolverine delivers.
The threequel wastes no time in establishing Professor X's twin sister as a major threat because, moments after we first meet her, she skins the Human Torch with a flick of her wrist.
Talking to GQ, Emma Corrin was asked how it felt to kill Chris Evans during his first MCU appearance since 2019's Avengers: Endgame.
"Absoooolutely mad," they admitted. "I felt so bad when we were in the screening the other day. Because we watched it after the New York premiere with all these Lincoln Center full of fans, and everyone was so excited when they see him appear on screen, and then after three minutes, I've killed him. I felt terrible. I was hiding in my seat.

"There's only been one Blade. Only ever gonna be one Blade."
It seems Wesley Snipes may have taken this line from Deadpool and Wolverine a little more serioulsy than it was intended!
When Logan (Hugh Jackman) and the Merc With a Mouth (Ryan Reynolds) are banished to the Void by Mr. Paradox (Matthew Macfadyen), they discover that a group of Multiverse Variants have joined forces to make a stand against Cassandra Nova (Emma Corrin).
Joining Elektra (Jennifer Garner), X-23 (Dafne Keen) and Channing Tatum as Gambit is none other than Blade, played once again by Snipes.
With Mahershala Ali set to take over the role for the upcoming Marvel Studios reboot, Snipes' return was more than likely a one-off, but the actor has now shared an article headline calling for the reboot to be cancelled and Snipes to stay on as the McU's Daywalker.

“Deadpool & Wolverine” was released just over a week ago and continues to break box-office records, receiving an overwhelmingly positive response from fans. The film is packed with references, gags, cameos, and instances of fourth wall breaking—typical Deadpool fare.
In one scene, Tva’s Mr. Paradox shows Deadpool a screen where Thor is seen crying over Deadpool. Mr. Paradox quickly changes the scene, stating that Deadpool wasn’t supposed to see that.
True to his jokester nature, Ryan Reynolds shared the scene on social media, captioning it with, “I know why Thor was crying. I can’t unknow it.”

‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ was released over a week ago, and the movie keeps breaking box-office records with an overwhelmingly positive response from fans. The movie is filled with references, gags, cameos, and instances of 4th wall breaking – you know, the usual for Deadpool.
In one scene over the course of the movie, Tva’s Mr. Paradox shows Deadpool a screen on which Thor can be seen crying hunched over Deadpool’s screen. Mr. Paradox says that Deadpool wasn’t supposed to see that as he changes the scene.
Jokester that he is, Ryan Reynolds posted the scene on social media, with the caption “I know why Thor was crying. I can’t unknow it.”

We're sure the majority of you have seen Deadpool and Wolverine at this stage, but just in case, be warned of major spoilers from this point on.
One of them turns out to be none other than Blade, played once again by Wesley Snipes.
Now, Guinness World Records has announced that Snipes holds the record for longest career as a live action Marvel character, narrowly beating Hugh Jackman. Funnily enough, Jackman's return for Deadpool and Wolverine meant he technically held the record – right up until Snipes appeared on screen!
Jackman has been playing Logan for 24 years, while Snipes made his debut as the Daywalker 26 years ago. Of course,...

While Deadpool & Wolverine ended up being surprisingly standalone (and a celebration of the Fox-verse rather than its demise), there were definitely some hints about where the MCU goes next.
One of the biggest came when Mr. Paradox inadvertently gave Wade Wilson a glimpse into his future; on a screen in the Tva, we saw Chris Hemsworth's Thor cradling the fallen Deadpool. The villain was quick to switch it off, but the Merc with the Mouth spent the rest of the movie wondering what had left the God of Thunder in tears.
Paradox has already alluded to Deadpool having an important future on the Sacred Timeline, with Hunter B-15 later doing the same (this time with regards to Deadpool and Wolverine).
It's obvious they'll return in Avengers: Secret Wars and Ryan Reynolds has now shared an official shot from Deadpool & Wolverine showing the downed Merc.

This year’s Sdcc brought several exciting new revelations for the MCU. Fans enjoyed exclusive previews of Thunderbolts and Fantastic Four: First Steps, and it was announced that Robert Downey Jr. is returning to the MCU, this time as Doctor Doom.
Additionally, the recent release of Deadpool & Wolverine represents a significant turnaround for Disney, which has faced financial losses in recent years. As you may know, Phase 4 and Phase 5 have been particularly challenging, with notable losses from last year’s releases, The Marvels and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
The losses went beyond just financial; fans also began to lose interest due to a perceived decline in quality. Phase 4 of the MCU, in particular, did not resonate well with audiences and remains the lowest-rated phase, with most of its projects receiving only “mixed” reviews.

This year’s Sdcc has had several new and exciting reveals for the MCU. Fans were treated to exclusive looks related to ‘Thunderbolts*,’ ‘Fantastic Four: First Steps,’ and we’ve learned that Robert Downey Jr. is back in the MCU this time as Doctor Doom.
There’s also a recent release of ‘Deadpool & Wolverine‘ which marked a turning point for Disney’s recent losses. If you’re following the franchise you are likely aware that Phase 4 and Phase 5 lost a significant amount of money for the media company, especially two of 3 last year’s releases, ‘The Marvels,’ and ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.’
The losses were not monetary alone, fans rapidly started losing interest due to the perceived lack of quality. Something happened during Phase 4 of the MCU that fans did not quite like, and it’s still the lowest-rated overall most of its projects having “mixed” reviews at best.

People assumed that 20th Century Fox performers would appear in Deadpool and Wolverine. If this is the end of that universe, they’d have to go out with a bang. As time passed, we started to see how true this was.
Performers like Tyler Mane (Sabretooth), Dafnee Keen (X-23), and Jennifer Garner (Elektra) were announced or added to the Deadpool and Wolverine IMDb. This meant other former Marvel movie characters would appear. This was confirmed during the movie.
Here are the characters and performer cameos that appeared during Deadpool and Wolverine. Characters like Deadpool’s family aren’t on this list. They’re part of the Deadpool franchise and aren't cameos. The same goes for Emma Corrin's Cassandra Nova (who gets an A+) and Matthew Macfadyen's Mr. Paradox (A) who played the antagonists.

Nothing, of course, is off-limits in Deadpool & Wolverine. There are fourth-wall breaking jokes, jokes making fun of Marvel fans, jokes at the expense of Fox’s X-Men movies and a shockingly personal joke about Hugh Jackman’s recent divorce. Deadpool shines brightest, however, when he’s roasting his new business daddy: Disney’s MCU. Jokes at the MCU’s expense are littered throughout the movie, but these are the five best.
5 ‘Can We Just Be Done With the Whole Multiverse Thing?’
Just before Wolverine and Deadpool have it out with about a hundred Deadpool variants, Deadpool Prime asks the other Deadpools, “Can we just be done with the whole multiverse thing? It’s not great.” He proceeds to say that it’s been “miss after miss after miss,” and he encourages Marvel to “take the ‘L’” and move on. It’s highly doubtful Scoutmaster Kevin will listen to him, though.

Spoilers for "Deadpool & Wolverine" follow.
"Deadpool & Wolverine" builds on the Disney+ series "Loki," incorporating multiversal watchdogs the Tva (Time Variance Authority) and sending its heroes into the Void, a wasteland where those from "pruned" timelines go for final disposal.
The ruler of the Void is Cassandra Nova (Emma Corrin), mutant super-villainess and evil twin of Professor X, but she's only one half of the movie's big bads. The other is rogue Tva agent Mr. Paradox (Matthew Macfadyen), who wants to destroy Wade Wilson's (Ryan Reynolds) timeline because he can't be bothered with monitoring it.
Macfadyen plays Paradox like he did Tom Wambsgans on "Succession," though this time with his natural British accent. Paradox definitely seems like a chap who'd use a Tva agent or two as a human footstool. He's a soulless middle manager who smiles while crushing others, but in the end his ambition exceeds his competence,...

It can be argued that Deadpool and Wolverine barely had or even needed a plot except as an excuse to bring together a plethora of characters from yesteryear’s Marvel movies, but even with that being the case, the prime antagonist of the movie, Cassandra Nova Xavier, stole the show, being the only character whose arc, origin, and portrayal were intriguing enough to keep the audience invested in the narrative. In particular, fans who have followed actor Emma Corrin since the initial days of her acting career—from a brief stint in Epix’s DC series Pennyworth to her career best performance in The Crown, were not at all surprised to see that even with a very brief screen time in Deadpool and Wolverine, she absolutely owned the role of Cassandra as a cruel, psychotic mutant ruler of the Void—whose enhanced psychic powers rival even those of her twin brother,...

Disney’s Marvel Cinematic Universe has become the first film franchise in history to cross $30 billion at the global box office. The achievement was announced during the studios’ Hall H presentation at San Diego Comic-Con, led by studio chief Kevin Feige.
“Deadpool & Wolverine,” the latest entry in the sprawling series, pushed the haul across the coveted milestone after scoring $96 million on opening day in North America — the biggest ever for an R-rated release and the sixth-highest of all time. Taking to Twitter, Ryan Reynolds has said goodbye to the Fox Universe of Marvel superhero films.
Of course, MCU fans are convinced that Deadpool & Wolverine won't be the last we see of the Fox Universe, thanks to 2027's Avengers: Secret Wars. And there's a chance that they might turn up sooner as Marvel Studios quietly backs away from Kang the Conqueror and The Kang Dynasty in 2026's Avengers 5.
Still, who knows if this is indeed the last time will visit Earth-10005?
On social media, Reynolds wrote, "This isn’t just Deadpool saying ‘Oh, Hello’ to the MCU. It’s Deadpool – and Hugh, Shawn and me – saying farewell to a place and an era that literally made us."
"We are forever grateful to the fun, weird, uneven and risky world of 20th Century Fox. It was our origin story and we wouldn’t trade it for anything. And thank you...

This article has Deadpool & Wolverine spoilers galore.
Going into Deadpool & Wolverine, conventional wisdom held that the film would be a definitive end to the X-Men movies produced by 20th Century Fox. After all, even if Kevin Feige had a hand in crafting that universe, serving as a producer on X2: X-Men United and X-Men: The Last Stand, he didn’t enjoy the full control that he has now as head of Marvel Studios. And given the multiple wrong turns, not to mention more than a few bad men who have been involved with the franchise, it might be nice to give Marvel’s merry mutants a clean slate.
But in a surprise bigger than any of its cameos, Deadpool & Wolverine preserves the Fox Universe for future use… and it leaves the door wide open for their possible return to the MCU proper.

How much you are going to enjoy MCU’s latest buddy super-merc adventure, Deadpool and Wolverine, depends upon your willingness to be nostalgia-baited by Sony and Fox’s Marvel movies, tolerance for Deadpool’s overused meta and occasionally stale in your face humor, and, of course, if you are a fan of Hugh Jackman’s iconic take on Logan. The Marvel Cinematic Universe had struggled big time throughout its fourth phase and the first half of its fifth as well, despite having no competition from rivalling fronts—and no, it’s not superhero fatigue that has leached into the interconnected universe; it’s simply lacking a sense of ingenuity and honest effort in producing comic-book movies. As a result, MCU has veered once again to a good old fan service-oriented formulaic solution in the form of Deadpool and Wolverine, bringing together the iconic antiheroes to very literally and figuratively save...

Even before ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ hit theaters, Kevin Feige stated that this film marks the beginning of the mutant era in the MCU. The movie indeed delivers on this promise, referencing both mutants and the X-Men in a way that hasn’t been done before in this cinematic universe.
So, what does this mean for the MCU’s future? If our theory holds true, it suggests a grim outcome: by the end of ‘Secret Wars,’ only the X-Men may be left standing.

Throughout the film, it’s revealed that Deadpool’s reality is on the brink of destruction due to the death of the “anchor being” in his Earth-10005 universe. This anchor was Wolverine, who perished in the events of ‘Logan’ (2017). Although Deadpool’s reality has endured for about 1,000 years, Mr. Paradox is unwilling to wait that long.

Even before ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ premiered, Feige said that the era of mutants in the MCU began with this movie. This becomes clear during the movie when both mutants and the X-Men are referenced in a way like they have never been before within this cinematic universe.
So, what does this mean for the future of the MCU? Well, if our theory proves correct it means something very brutal, only the X-Men will remain standing in it when the credits of ‘Secret Wars’ roll.

Over the course of the movie, we see that Deadpool’s reality is basically doomed due to the death of the “anchor being” in his native Earth-10005 reality. That anchor being was unfortunately Wolverine who died during the events of ‘Logan’ released in 2017. Deadpool’s reality has some 1000 or so years of existence but Mr.
