Award winning Director Matt Smith is best known for his critically acclaimed BBC film, Rio Ferdinand: Being Mum and Dad. The film won a BAFTA, Broadcast, RTS and Bulldog award for best single documentary, along with an Grierson nomination. Other works include the feature-length documentary: David Beckham: For the Love of The Game; BAFTA award winning series First Dates; and more recently C4's The Bulger Killers: Was Justice Done?
