María Torres is a screenwriter and director from Mexico City. She is known for writing and directing Anónima, for which she received an International Emmy nomination. Previously, she wrote and directed the feature film Do You Know Tomás?
She has collaborated as writer with Enrique Vázquez on several films, including Firma Aquí, Mamá o Papá and The (Almost) Idols of Bahía Colorada, all released in 2023.
