Jan is a leading European sales agent, owner of the Warsaw-based boutique world sales company
New Europe Film Sales, which sells quality feature films and shorts from all over the world.
The company's catalog includes such art-house hits, as Corpus Christi (Oscar nomination 2020),
Rams (Prix Un Certain Regard in Cannes 2015), Lamb (Cannes Un Certain Regard 2021), Summer
1993 (Berlinale Best Debut 2017), A White, White Day (Cannes Semaine de la Critique 2019) and
the upcoming new movie from the makers of the Oscar-nominated Loving Vincent - The Peasants
(coming late 2022).
Jan regularly acts as an expert for the Polish Film Fund, European Film Academy, Creative Europe
and other international institutions. He's a graduate and guest lecturer of EAVE and
regularly teaches for leading film schools and development programs, such as the Torino Film Lab
and ACE. He has been a long-term collaborator of the New Horizons IFF, where he established
several international industry programs.
In late 2018 Jan established NEM Corp - a creative collaboration hub, which includes New Europe
and the companies of Ewa Puszczynska (Oscar-winning producer of Ida and Cold War)
and Klaudia Smieja (producer of Claire Denis' High Life and Agnieszka Holland's Berlinale
competition title Mr. Jones) and established New Europe Warsaw Sessions - an annual, exclusive
meeting place for new talents and top film executives, which takes place in a secret location outside
Warsaw. Jan was a producer on Lamb starring Noomi Rapace.
