Makenzie McClure (born J. Makenzie Joseph McClure) was born in Humble, Texas, but raised in Midland, Texas. Growing up, his parents encouraged his love for movies and superheroes, which sparked his young interest in one day being involved with both. During high school, he began doing both debate and theatre, which exploded his interests in performing ever onward. He graduated Midland High School, and spent the summer working in classes with the NYFA Burbank campus in California. Soon after working with them, he followed up with a brief stint at Tarleton State in Stephenville, Texas. There he learned an all-inclusive study of theatre history, musicals, improv, and stagecraft. When he felt his time was at capacity there, Makenzie moved to Austin, Texas. He performed on stage there, and even won runner-up for Best Featured Actor in a Musical for 2016 by Broadway World for his work in the musical Dogfight. These days though, you can find him in front of a camera and performing on the screen. Watch out, he'll be near you soon enough!
