Billy Boyd is a rapper / producer / writer and designer from Arbroath in Scotland.
While at art school in Dundee (Scotland) he became friends with Gavin Bain (see also, Brains Mcloud) and the pair began to write and perform music together under the name 'Silibil n Brains'. The duo relocated to London (UK)in 2003 and signed a major record deal with Sony UK.
In 2012, he founded SoandSo Media as an outlet for like minded creative and later that year - under his production alias, Lance Carter- released his debut self titled ep. .
Director Jeanie Findlay documented the Silibil n Brains story in her 2013 award winning film, 'The Great Hip Hoax' which debuted at SXSW the same year.
