Lisa Takeuchi Cullen is a Japanese-American writer and producer. She is under an overall deal with Universal Studios, with numerous projects in development. She created "The Ordained," a produced pilot for CBS starring Charlie Cox, Audra McDonald and Hope Davis, and has developed pilots for Netflix, ABC, NBC, CBS, A&E and Warner Bros. She has served as co-executive producer on NBC's "The Endgame," consulting producer on NBC's "Law & Order: SVU" and a writer on HBO's "Unt. Anna Delvey." She is a graduate of the WGA Showrunner Training Program. Previously, Cullen was a staff writer and foreign correspondent for TIME magazine. She is the author of the novel "Pastors' Wives" (Penguin) and of "Remember Me: A Lively Tour of the New American Way of Death" (HarperCollins). She serves as vice president of the Writers Guild of America East, co-chair of its Committee for Inclusion & Equity, founder of its Salon system for affinity groups, and is the recipient of its 2020 Richard B. Jablow Award for service to the Guild. Cullen was born and raised in Kobe, Japan, and lives in New Jersey with her family.
