Stephanie Taylor is a versatile, highly creative composer and multi-instrumentalist, whose work has attracted a number of high profile clients in the world of TV, Film and Games.
Most recently she's written the music for Spun Gold TV's 4 part primetime documentary series, Inside the Crown (2020) (ITV), and the music for the feature film The Creeping (2022), directed by Jamie Hooper.
Stephanie has composed music for various projects for Film & TV, such as BAFTA-winning series Grand Designs (1999) (C4), Grand Designs: House of the Year (2015) (C4), and Meghan Markle: The First 100 Days (2018) (C5). In 2018 she was the composer for the game Misfolded, a 2.5D narrative-game exploring the importance of memories and the loss of loved ones.
Stephanie is a masters graduate of the prestigious NFTS (National Film and Television School) where she studied Composition, and attended Paul McCartney's LIPA (Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts) where she studied contemporary music and composition for her undergraduate.
Stephanie was the first female to sign to Accorder Music publishing in 2018 and the same year received a 'Best Composer' nomination for the short 'Cycle' at Underwire Film Festival, she was nominated again for this award in 2019 for Isabelle Garrett's award winning animation, Listen To Me Sing (2020).
The short Three Women Wait for Death (2016) directed by Isabelle Sieb (BBC's Shetland, Sky's The Athena) and written by BAFTA-nom'd writer Nat Luurtsema, won the Chris Collins Best of British Live Action award at Encounters Film Festival 2016, and was long-listed for the Best British Short Film BAFTA 2017.
In 2019 Stephanie was selected for the BFI Network x BAFTA Crew talent development programme.
