[This story includes major spoilers for The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel series finale, “Four Minutes.]
Miriam “Midge” Maisel officially became the “Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” in the series finale titled “Four Minutes.”
The final episode of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel saw Midge (Rachel Brosnahan) take the biggest risk of her career when she finally got the chance to make an appearance on The Gordon Ford Show — against Gordon Ford’s (Reid Scott) wishes.
When Gordon’s wife, Hedy (Nina Arianda), forces the talk show host to put Midge on his show, he begrudgingly obliges and breaks his rule that employees can’t appear as guests on the show. But, instead of introducing her as a comic, he introduces her as the show’s “resident lady writer,” while the two sit on stools instead of the couch his guests usually sit on.
With four minutes left in the broadcast, Gordon cuts to commercial, much to Mike Carr’s (Jason Ralph) dismay.

During an Atx reunion panel celebrating his trailblazing MTV series Faking It, showrunner and executive producer Carter Covington expressed the opinion that the show would be much trickier to get off the ground today than it was just seven or so years ago.
“I do think [today] our original premise probably would have been blasted out before the show even aired,” he said. “It was a challenging premise. We all knew it would get attention.”
In his appearance on the panel alongside Covington, actor Michael J. Willett agreed that the initial conceit was tricky. “I think the idea had the potential to be very insensitive,” said the actor, who played Shane. At the same time, he said that the show is that much more commendable because of the risks it took, and the way in which tricky subject matter was approached. “I think that it was very masterful of Carter and...

Last season, Faking It saw a big tumble in the ratings but MTV went ahead with season three anyway. Will the numbers continue to drop this time around or will they fall even lower? Cancelled or renewed for season four? Stay tuned.

Two episodes were provided prior to broadcast.
Piggybacking on the premiere of the fifth and final season of Awkward, MTV’s Faking It continues the effervescent descent into high school idiosyncrasies for which the network’s teenage-aimed sitcoms have become known. The impressive thing about the first two episodes of the last half of the sophomore season of Faking It (which is obviously not the way MTV has broken up and scheduled the show) is that it has slowly begun to surpass its sister series as the incisive parody of high school minutiae that Awkward was in its hay day.
Picking up two weeks after last year’s finale, the season 2B premiere dumps its coterie of amusing characters into a new, scary version of Hester High. The show’s crushingly liberal nexus of plots and characters is undergoing a bit of a face lift, thanks to a few cascading...

Faking It is the highest-rated new series launch on MTV so far this year, averaging a 1.5 rating among the network’s target demographic of persons 12-34 and 1.4 million total viewers each week. Airing at 10:30 Pm, it retains nearly 90% of its lead-in, MTV flagship comedy Awkward, and regularly ranks as one of the Top 10 most socially-engaged primetime cable series on Tuesday. “Faking It has proved to be the perfect companion show to Awkward,” said Susanne Daniels, President of MTV Programming. “We’re excited about Carter Covington’s delicious plans for season two.” Created by Dana Min Goodman and Julia Wolov and executive produced by Covington, Faking It is a romantic comedy about two best friends, Karma (Katie Stevens) and Amy (Rita Volk), who...

The short answer, alas, is “no.” And really, how could it be? V.C. Andrews’ Petals on the Wind is in a class of its own, one where movie adaptations dare not go — a world in which it’s perfectly fine and great for a 40-something widower to fall in love with a gorgeous, 15-year-old shut-in who’s just been raped by her equally beautiful brother. (Don’t worry about the lack of consent, though; according to Andrews, the girl kind of wanted it anyway. Also totally normal and okay.)

Talk about taking on a tough role! Wyatt Nash -- star of Lifetime's "Petals on the Wind" -- chatted with toofab's Brittany Kyles about his juicy new role in the soap network's sequel to "Flowers in the Attic." Wyatt plays Christopher Dollanganger Jr., and the film takes place a decade after Christopher's escaped from his grandparents' attic with sisters Cathy Dollanganger (Rose McIver) and Carrie Dollanganger (Bailey Buntain). As Chris and Cathy try to put their past romantic relationship behind them (now that they are out of captivity and in the real world), they discover that not all of their secrets can remain hidden. Check out the video above to see what Nash had to say about taking on the taboo part and find out if he has any real-life revenge secrets of his own! Heather Graham also stars in the flick as Corrine Winslow, Chris, Cathy and Carrie's mother...

After giving us crazy in the absolute best way with “Flowers in the Attic,” Lifetime managed to get even wilder with its sequel, with the results being a mixed, but still extremely entertaining, bag. For fans of the Vc Andrews’ series, the new adaptation of “Petals on the Wind” is fairly true to the book, but for those who go in blind (like this reviewer), it’s even better. The story picks up 10 years after the events in the attic, where Cathy (now played by Rose McIver), Chris (Wyatt Nash) and Carrie (Bailey Buntain) are attending a funeral for Paul [...]

Lifetime's “Petals on the Wind” clearly captures the Dollanganger family in very different times from the events of “Flowers in the Attic.” TheWrap has the first look photos of Rose McIver as Cathy, Heather Graham as selfish mother Corrine and Bailey Buntain as the twin that survived “Flowers,” Carrie. The pictures show that the women certainly look like life has treated them well, but we'll learn that the events in the attic still haunt them. See video: Lifetime's First ‘Petals on the Wind’ Trailer: Revenge, Sex, Fire and Lots of Slapping It's the 1970s and Cathy (Rose McIver) and Chris (Wyatt Nash) have.

On the heels of the "Flowers in the Attic," Lifetime will premiere its sequel "Petals on the Wind" on Memorial Day (Mon., May 26, at 9:00 p.m. Et). Because what better way to celebrate a national holiday than with a movie about incest, drug use and dancing? If you've forgotten (or haven't read) the books, this TV movie will be based on the second gothic novel of the iconic V.C. Andrews series about the Dollanganger family. The film begins ten years after the siblings have escaped the attic, where their mother Corrine (Heather Graham, "Drugstore Cowboy") and grandmother Olivia (Ellen Burstyn, "Political Animals") kept them locked away for more than two years. And, you know, they had their sexual awakening and all that. While eating poisoned donuts. Good times! A decade after Cathy (Rose McIver, "Masters of Sex," "Once Upon a Time"), Christopher (Wyatt Nash, "Pretty Little Liars") and Carrie (Bailey Buntain,...

Rose McIver filmed the sequel to Lifetime’s Flowers in the Attic made-for-tv movie, Petals on the Wind, in Pasadena, Calif., on Thursday alongside returning stars Heather Graham and Ellen Burstyn.
Rose McIver Films 'Petals On The Wind'
Petals on the Wind, also based on a book by V.C. Andrews, picks up 10 years after the events in Flowers in the Attic. McIver, 25, is playing the older version of Kiernan Shipka’s character, Cathy. Now an adult, Cathy, along with her two siblings, bears lasting scars from their mother’s abuse. Sick of the ongoing torment, Cathy is determined to exact her revenge on her mother (Graham) and to discontinue her incestuous affair with her brother, Chris.
New Zealand native McIver is perhaps best known for her TV work on Showtime's Masters of Sex and on ABC's Once Upon a Time as Tinker Bell. Her most recognizable film role...

Bunheads actress Bailey Buntain has been cast in Lifetime's Flowers in the Attic sequel, Petals on the Wind, which picks up ten years after the kids escaped the attic. Buntain will play Carrie, the surviving Dollanganger twin whose brother Corey died in the first film after being slowly poisoned by his mother's arsenic doughnuts. Heather Graham and Ellen Burstyn will reprise their roles as TV's most twisted child tormentors, and Rose McIver and Wyatt Nash will play sibs turned lovers Cathy and Chris (replacing Mad Men's Kiernan Shipka and Mason Dye). This means Amy Sherman-Palladino will totally tune in. Buntain's former boss once told us all about her deep familiarity with the V.C. Andrews series — "Porn for teenage girls! Remember those kids living in the attic for years? The brother and sister are having sex. It was just the dirtiest!" — and explained its unlikely connection to Bunheads: After the traumatizing events of Flowers,...

Bunheads was cancelled long after the last episode of the ABC Family series was filmed so the cast and crew weren't able to give the show a proper series finale.
Series co-creator Amy Sherman-Palladino and some of the show's performers have now filmed a touching "last dance" to say thank you to the fans for all of their support.
The Bunheads video was directed by Sherman-Palladino and the dance was choreographed by Marguerite Derricks. It appropriately references back to memorable dances from the 18-episode series.
The piece stars Julia Goldani Telles (Sasha), Bailey Buntain (Ginny), and Jeanine Mason (Cozette), and also features Matisse Love, Ra’Jahnae “Rae Rae” Patterson, Colleen Craig, Maine Kawashima, Eli Gruska, Adam Bernstein, Edgar Khachaturov, Kara Hess, Micah Moch, Helen Pai, and Jackson Douglas.

The television landscape, particularly in recent years, is filled with shows that television critics adored and championed, yet which never managed to parlay critical acclaim into commercial success. One such show was the ABC Family series Bunheads; the latest effort from Gilmore Girls creator Amy Sherman-Palladino found itself cancelled earlier this year due to low ratings, despite numerous rallies from viewers and fans of the show. As a last hurrah, numerous key members of the show, including Amy Sherman-Palladino, choreographer Marguerite Derricks, and castmembers such as Bailey Buntain and Julia Goldani Telles got together to perform a final dance, set to Blues for Baby and Me by Elton John. The full performance can be seen below.
