Born in North Walsham, England in 1976, Rob attended a film-making
course at the University of Salford, during which he began acting in
short films, largely to help out fellow directors.
After graduating, Rob abandoned his initial plans for a career in television production in favour of a steady day job to support his aspirations as a rock drummer. He performed in a number of successful bands in his local area, releasing a few records in the process.
Now semi-retired from music, Rob works in local government, occasionally acts, and writes regularly on horror and exploitation cinema.
