"Put a shirt on, your tutor is here." Disney has revealed an official trailer for a cute romantic comedy movie arriving for streaming on Disney+ at the end of March titled Prom Pact. This is just a Disney Channel TV movie that is also being released as a feature on Disney+ this spring. The heartfelt romantic comedy is set during the emotion and excitement of high school prom season. It follows Mandy Yang, played by Peyton Elizabeth Lee, and her best friend Ben, seniors who are surrounded by extravagant promposals. But not even the excitement of prom can shake Mandy's focus on her primary goal: getting into Harvard. But she lands on the Ivy League's waitlist. So, she resorts to striking a deal with popular jock Graham, whose father is a prominent senator and a Harvard alum. She eventually realizes there's more to Graham, and even more to life than Harvard.

Disney+ has canceled the John Stamos-led original series “Big Shot” and sequel series “The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers” after two seasons at the streamer.

From co-creator David E. Kelley, the dramedy “Big Shot” starred Stamos as men’s basketball coach Marvyn Korn, who found himself ousted from the NCAA and picking up a new job coaching a girls team at a private high school. The cast also featured Jessalyn Gilsig, Yvette Nicole Brown, Richard Robichaux, Sophia Mitri Schloss, Nell Verlaque, Tiana Le, Monique Green, Tisha Custodio and Cricket Wampler.

Kelley served as executive producer alongside co-creators Dean Lorey and Brad Garrett, along with Bill D’Elia. The show premiered in April 2021 and returned for a second season in October 2022.

From David E. Kelley, comedy-drama series “Big Shot” starred John Stamos as Marvyn Korn, a men’s basketball coach whose temperamental nature has him ousted from the NCAA and ends up coaching girls at an elite private high school. The cast also included Yvette Nicole Brown, Jessalyn Gilsig, Richard Robichaux, Sophia Mitri Schloss, Nell Verlaque, Tiana Le, Monique Green, Tisha Custodio and Cricket Wampler.

Kelley co-created “Big Shot” with Dean Lorey and Brad Garrett, and all three served as executive producers along with Bill D’Elia. The series premiered in April 2021, followed by the debut of Season 2 in October of 2022.

“The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers” served as a follow-up to Steve Brill’s 1992 film “The Mighty Ducks.” The series was set in present day Minnesota, where the Mighty Ducks had evolved from scrappy underdogs to an ultra-competitive youth hockey team.

“Big Shot” is the story of a once-successful but temperamental NCAA basketball coach who lands in hot water when he injures a referee. Add to it a failed marriage, and this hotshot coach is brought down a few pegs.

Now that he’s busted down to minor leagues, he needs to coach the sports team of an all-girls high school. But there’s a caveat — those kids don’t take him seriously. As the dramedy moves on, he magically finds his way back and ends up having a phenomenal redemption arc. “Big Shot” is a true depiction of how second chances can be life-changing.

The series debuted on Disney+ on April 16, 2021. David E. Kelley, Bill D’Elia, Dean Lorey, and Brad Garrett are the executive producers of “Big Shot.” ABC Signature is the studio. It is rumored that the production for season two will kickstart somewhere in 2022.
