Jay R Adams is a Detroit native who started his career as a professional wrestler, known as Eddie Venom. For 12 years he wrestled all over the midwest and Canada, including having televised matches for TNA's Xplosion, and WWE SMACKDOWN! During his career he got to wrestle many famous wrestlers like Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Tito Santana, Sabu, Tommy Dreamer, Shane Douglas, Rhyno, Cryme Tyme, Jesse and Festus, Road Warrior Hawk, Buff Bagwell, Rick and Scott Steiner, and many more. He also acted as one of the Undertaker's druids on 2 seperate occasions, including at Wrestlemania. Jay was featured as a wrestler on television shows like MTV's Made, and Travel Channel's Man Vs Food.
Jay then transitioned into the acting and stunt industry. His first major acting job was in a national 5 Hour Energy commercial. He then did several local commercials, and had a role in the locally made film, The Citizen.
In 2014, Jay was cast as a Metropolis police officer in the film Batman V Superman.
In 2015, Jay traveled to Dallas, TX, where he was featured on 2 seperate episodes of the Conan O'Brien show. In that year he also played the role of an inmate in the DVD and Blu Ray extra features for the Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone film Escape Plan.
Jay then spent two years on the WGN America show Outsiders, where he was the stunt double for actor Ryan Hurst (Sons of Anarchy, Remember The Titans, Bates Motel).
Other shows that Jay has been featured on are Cinemax's Banshee, CBS's Blue Bloods, NBC's Chicago PD, Netflix's The Punisher, and Showtime's Ray Donovan, Disney's Christmas Again, Paramount Plus' Tulsa King, Amazon's American Rust, and Apple TV's Sinking Spring.
