Eli Haligua

Eli is a multi-award-winning sound designer based in Vancouver. He started his sound career at a radio station, and after six years of broadcast experience, he switched his focus to the motion picture industry. Devoted to his craft, Eli has seamlessly navigated across borders, contributing his talent to diverse projects in Canada, Türkiye, the UK, and the US.
Renowned as a Supervising Sound Editor/Re-recording Mixer, Eli's work has graced the screens of prestigious international film festivals, including Cannes, Venice, Berlinale, Montreal, Karlovy Vary, Sarajevo, SXSW, and Sitges.
Eli graduated from SAE Sound Engineering School with honours and studied Digital Music Production at Langara College. He holds a Master's Degree in Sound Technologies from Bahcesehir University, where he wrote his thesis about the effects of Dolby Atmos on sound designers' approaches in Türkiye.
