Sam Awwad

Sam has been acting for over 25 years. He realizes that makes him sound old but hopes you think of it more as having wisdom in the craft of playing pretend. Having gone to school a long long time ago for theatre his career began on the stage. First, as someone bringing to life the characters that many different playwrights from many different eras dreamt up, then also as a director, to then also running a theatre company in Ottawa, Vision Theatre, which was somewhat successful. A well reviewed thespian, he took himself off stage a decade or so ago to do work in film, appearing in a lot of shorts, a couple features, and with many a plan for more. He is probably one of the greatest actors of our generation, though you probably have not seen him in anything. If by some pure chance you've stumbled upon viewing something he's been in, he hopes you enjoyed the film and that you'll talk incessantly about how amazing it is to everyone you come across (Especially about his tour-de-force performance in it).
