Born in Madrid, Spain, Jorge Alarcón is a sound editor specializing in dialogue editing. He has been honored by the MPSE Golden Reel Award for his work on Society of the snow and has served as dialogue editor on the Goya Award-winning films for Best Sound: El desconocido, Adú, and Society of the snow. As the sound mixer of El año del descubrimiento, he contributed to the success of the documentary, which won multiple awards, including the Goya for Best Documentary. Jorge currently balances his career as a sound supervisor and dialogue editor, working primarily in Spain and the UK.
