Nathan Longest originally hails from Central Virginia where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, focusing on digital animation, in 2010 from Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts.
In January 2011 Nathan joined Sony Pictures Imageworks in Los Angeles, California where he worked as a render technician until fall 2012.
In early 2012 Nathan began making Cosplay props for Dustbunny Cosplay, and used the tools and knowledge learned online to transition to full time prop fabrication, starting work for Paul Pearson of Custom Movie Props Inc. in Jan. 2013.
During summer 2014 Nathan left CMP Inc. to pursue a union prop fabrication for film and television, working as a fabricator and designer at a prop house with a lengthy history fabricating props for some of Hollywood's biggest Film and TV shows.
Nathan now fabricates props full time and specializes in the use of laser cutters and 3D Printers.
