Apple TV+ is giving the best gift this holiday season with a surprise bonus video from the Emmy Award-winning series “Carpool Karaoke: The Series,’” featuring longtime friends and “Glee” cast mates Lea Michele and Darren Criss as they drive through New York City singing their heart out holiday songs, including one of Criss’s songs from his album “A Very Darren Crissmas“, which is available on Apple Music.

Exclusive: Iain Reid and Jason Schwartzman are adapting Apples — a 2020 Greek film of the same name from Christos Nikou — for the small screen.

Nikou will direct the project that will be executive produced by Reid and Schwartzman, who will write. Jane Featherstone and Carolyn Strauss will EP, along with Jerome Duboz, Kate Fenske through Sister, and Cate Blanchett, Coco Francini, and Andrew Upton through Dirty Films.

Apples will expand on the world created by Nikou for the film, which was chosen in 2021 as Greece’s official submission for the Best International Feature category for the Academy Awards. Set in an unnamed city amidst an outbreak of sudden amnesia, the series is a comedic, heartfelt, existential, and deeply human character study that follows a diverse group of recent amnesiacs who are enrolled in an experimental recovery program designed to help them build new identities.

The BBC America drama “Killing Eve” has not only received strong critical acclaim, but is also making a splash in the ratings.

The series has grown in total viewers since its premiere less than a month ago. The premiere on April 8 drew 423,000 viewers in Live+Same Day, while the fourth and most recent episode on April 29 drew 503,000. Sunday night’s episode also delivered 892,000 total viewers with 386,000 in adults 25-54 in Live+3.

Starring Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer, the series centers on two women; Eve (Oh) is a bored, whip-smart, pay-grade MI5 security officer whose desk-bound job doesn’t fulfill her fantasies of being a spy. Shock received word that the supernatural thriller Altergeist is specifically hitting DirectTV only on October 8th. Earlier this year, the film tried a "demand it" campaign to bring the film to theaters, but I did not hear whether that was a success or not.

Directed by Tedi Sarafian, Altergeist stars Kristina Anapau, Brendan Fletcher and Sarah Oh. You can check out a trailer here.

It's not a "found footage" film, but it is an original story and a supernatural thriller. It's called Altergeist, a film we first told you about during our American Film Market coverage last year, and today we've received the title treatment and a handful of images, courtesy of the official site. Writer-director Tedi Serafian's flick stars True Blood's Kristina Anapau, Freddy vs. Jason's Brendan Fletcher and Sarah Oh. Here's a bit more about the film and the gallery. No word on a release date yet, but we're told it will be locked in for sometime this year.

It's a horror hottie double news explosion here in the Horror Asylum's pants right now. Michelle Rodriguez ('Machete', 'Resident Evil') and Kristina Anapau ('Black Swan', 'Cursed') are the latest hot-pots on Ted Sarafian's new spooky feature 'Sighting'. The haunted house ghost hunt project is yet another addition to the ever-increasing barrel of 'found-footage'-esque horror features which, if not reigned in a little, could become a bit overkill. Starring alongside our two lovely ladies are David Weidoff, Brendan Fletcher and Sarah Oh. Check out the plot and the yummy twosome below....

Gutter Films feature "The Crypt," will be available for fans this June 25. Filmed in Scottsdale, Arizona the film showcases the talents of Hollywood Yates (American Gladiators) and Michael Ranallo (Hotel Paradise) who explore the depths of a pre-Depression era burial chamber.
