At the early age of 6, moving to a new country, David stayed with his grandparents in their Century City condo, which allowed time for his parents to acquire their new home. Unbeknownst to David, that same month every single night he witnessed wide-eyed, jaw-dropping activity, as a large group of adults, appeared to the young David, have seemed to create a playground as such, smack in the middle of the street, setting-off explosions, having vehicles constantly smashed & burned, as well as a never-ending loud echoing barrage of firecrackers resembling gunshots, without a doubt the catalyst which sparked David's passion: to the pursuit of perfecting his lifelong's craft and career in the creative arts & content creation.
In that late 80's month, David was eagerly waiting in excitement for the night's fall to watch more of the ruckus across the street. The opposite sentiment to all residents of condominiums, which added to their frustration, a letter to all was going around and apologizing for disrupting sleep; also showing they had a permit which meant the residence couldn't do anything about it. In sheer amazement knowing these adults playing were actually working on a job, getting paid, to blow shit-up, which was, to a 6-year-old, the best job in the whole-wide-world, shifting from being an astronaut, and video game designer/tester, below what he soon found out was movie making.
A year later, David sneaked into the rated R movie, watching the magical cinematic transformation of the Fox Tower, projected onto the silver screen as the one-and-only: NAKATOMI TOWER. And after multiple sneaked-in showings of Die Hard (1988) at the AMC 14, and multiple visits to Universal Studios Park, which shifted Disneyland to the second choice, he also found it natural to be an entrepreneur, as he began any job, side-hustle, or chore for pay, allowed him to save for a video camera, which garnished the commencement of filmmaking, learning the craft of storytelling throughout the journey of each project.
David's passion for creative arts expanded quickly with his curiosity to all its outlets, one being the Theater Stage, as one of his jobs turned into three years in middle school as a Stage Crew artisan & collaborator, designing lights & sound at Hawthorne Middle School in Beverly Hills, CA. rapidly falling in love and submerging himself by having a hand in hundreds of productions, from talent shows to musicals and even auditorium assemblies, After a few years, at the age of 14, he joined KBEV 6, Beverly Hills High School's Television Studio, which aired live programming to the city's local cable channel.
