Nishtha Jain is an eminent documentary filmmaker from India, best known for her multi-award-winning films, Farming the Revolution (2024), The Golden Thread (2022), and Gulabi Gang (2012). Born in Delhi, she graduated from Jamia Mass Communication Centre and later studied Film Direction at the Film & Television Institute of India, Pune. Since 2002, she has been living in Mumbai and making independent films under the banner of Raintree Films.
