Donnie Bonelli was born in Orange California to Richard Bonelli(A
classical and operatic singer) and Tina von Trotha(Bonelli)in St.
Joseph's hospital. From a very early age Donnie showed a genuine and
notable interest in and talent for the arts. His mother has recordings
of him singing made up songs on a tape recorder. At age 4 his family
moved to a small town in the inland empire called Moreno Valley. It was
there that Donnie came into his own with regard to acting and music.
His first exposure to the acting world was when he acted along side his
father in a local production of Annie. He played the paper boy, and his
father played Daddy Warbucks. He then spent his formative years on
local stages performing in acting troops and other performing arts
organizations. Along with acting Donnie has also worked on films as a
camera assistant, and has written and directed several short films. His
passion for story telling has taken form on stage, screen, and in the
recording studio writing and recording indie rock, both solo and with
his band BottleShip.
