Exclusive: Andy Palmer has signed on to direct When They Come For Me as his next film, after wrapping production on the comedy The Re-Education of Molly Singer, starring Britt Robertson, Nico Santos, Jaime Pressley and Holland Roden.

The thriller from Citizen Skull Productions tells the story of six trapped locals during a lightning storm at Stonehenge that creates an electrical dome, where survival means fighting off ancient souls trying to take over their bodies.

German actors Werner Daehn and Adrienne McQueen are attached to star in the pic, which will shoot next year in Europe. Patricia Beauchamp, Alix Reeves and Adrienne McQueen wrote the script, with Liz Fuller, Matt Prater, Michael Roesch and Mark Myers set to produce for Citizen Skull.

The very same day, IFC Films is debuting the latest from filmmaker John McNaughton- The Harvest- who is the same visionary behind the visceral cult classic Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer starring Michael Rooker. With the film set for a VOD debut later this month, distributors XLrator Media have released a brand new trailer and poster for the film… And you might spot a familiar name pop up on-screen at one point during the trailer.

When a brilliant but obsessive scientist goes to extremes to develop a universal cure for all disease, he finds himself infected with a bizarre parasite that begins to transform him into a bloodthirsty madman. Time running out, and with the aid of his med student assistant, he must find a way to stop the monster that is growing within and prevent the rest of the world from being “cured.”

Director Pearry Teo (Necromentia) is set to release another nightmare upon the world. The film is titled Pale Horse and it involves voodoo, magic and menagerie. As well, the film's first trailer is now available. And, the clip emphasizes costume, setting and mystery. Even the story is being shrouded in a black mist. Pale Horse stars Eileen Dietz (The Exorcist), Alexandra Bard (Strange Blood), Perish Dignam, Taylor Plecity, Jimbo Barnett and Lorenzo Leonard. The trailer beckons below. As well, a movie poster has been released for this title. The graphic offers two taglines: "A voodoo odyssey" and "Darkness is forever." The movie poster also shows more of the film's elaborate costumes, hair and makeup. Fans of indie horror will be pleased to know that this feature is now completed and it will be available soon. In this title, a brilliant scientist experiments with a cure-all for every disease under the sun. Unsurprisingly, something goes wrong and this scientist is changed forever. As well, this film stars Robert Brettenaugh, Alexandra Bard and James Adam Lim. The film's official trailer is hosted here. The trailer and look of the film are influenced by David Cronenberg. Cronenberg's body horror influences can be seen in the scientist's body, which is changed in a bloody fashion. Other characters are also infected with a strange disease, with the tone and setting consistently dark. Fans of horror can view the film in just a month. Directed by Pearry Teo (Necromentia, Witchville) and produced by Kim Durham for Meraxes Entertainment, Pale Horse is a brand new gothic horror currently in post-production. Little, beyond the teaser trailer for the film on the official Facebook page and the fact the film is a new take on the voodoo mythos, is known about the movie – but it does have a stellar cast of genre talent, including Eileen Dietz (The Exorcist), Alexandra Bard (Strange Blood), Perish Dignam, Taylor Plecity, Jimbo Barnett and Lorenzo Leonard.

We first told you about Chad Michael Ward's upcoming indie flick Strange Blood back in May, and today we've got more info for you to feast your eyeballs on! Read on for the latest!

According to Screen Daily, Bleiberg Entertainment's genre division Compound B will be producing the film, which marks the directorial debut of Ward, a production designer and photographer. Production on Strange Blood is set to begin in November, with Robert Brettenaugh and Alexandra Bard attached to star.

“I cut my teeth on dark and morbid imagery in the early days of my photography, so I couldn’t ask for a more exciting or more appropriate return to horror than with this unapologetic bloodbath of a story,” said Ward.

Pearry Teo will produce, alongside Compound B.
