Fans are still laughing their heads off at Fred Armisen's new "Saturday Night Live" sketch, "Farewell, Mr. Bunting," which was declared an "instant classic."
SNL isn't always "live" when you consider all of the pre-taped bits, which are often the strongest segments of the week. But millions of viewers still watch live on Saturday night, and that was the best way to see this "Dead Poets Society" spoof, because the live reactions from the studio audience and Twitter were priceless.
Check it out:
It was only a matter of time before the ceiling fans attacked. We tried to warn people...

Tessitore will become Espn’s new No. 2 announcer, calling games alongside Todd Blackledge in Espn’s primetime slot. Also Read: Kenny Mayne Compares Espn Management to North Korean...

Katy Perry popped up on Espn’s College GameDay this weekend, hung out with hosts Lee Corso and Chris Fowler, made some sports predictions ("by their colors"), and sorta denied, sorta confirmed Super Bowl rumors: "I have let them know that I’m not the type of girl that would pay to play the Super Bowl, so the ball is in their field." She's referring to The Wall Street Journal's report that this year would be the first the NFL would ask for artists to pay to play the Halftime Show — a request that they've put out to Coldplay, Rihanna, and Perry. Are we being thrown for a loop here? Perry is the perfect Super Bowl candidate: She's got the recent tour choreography, a new album, the big hits (cues medley), and, clearly, a love of sports. Also, like she said: It's up to them. This could still happen.

Katy Perry is ready for some football! The "Firework" singer added some sparks to Espn's College GameDay Saturday morning. Broadcast live from the University of Mississippi campus, Perry joined host Chris Fowler and analysts Kirk Herbstreit, Lee Corso and Desmond Howard for plenty of sports talk. "Oxford Mississippi I'm Here With Rebel Red Hair Today!" Perry tweeted on-set. "Are You Ready?! @CollegeGameDay #GetUp4GameDay" By no surprise, Perry wasn't exactly up to par on college football. That didn't, however, stop her from making some predictions for Saturday's games. When asked if Oklahoma would defeat Texas Christian University, Perry had no...

For those of you who don't know, Espn's College Game Day is a morning show for college football fans to get primed for a full day of games. Since the show is filmed on campus of one of the schools playing that day, College Game Day isn't just for commentary, but for the unique parade of hype and zeal that arises when you marry sports fandom with school spirit. How much entertainment you get out of College Game Day is normally proportionate to how much you care about college and game days, but sometimes really strange things happen on the show.

3 Venues… 5 days… 36 films!
Yes, Northern England’s premier horror film festival, Grimmfest, is back for 2013, this time taking place at three venues across the north – including two in Manchester – allowing for a much bigger programme for this year. After the launch on October 2nd at Stockport Plaza, Grimmfest 2013 will continue from October 3rd – 6th, at the Dancehouse Theatre, And the Lass O’Gowrie, Manchester. There’s a number of films scheduled this year that (as of yet) haven’t played any other UK film festivals, so there’s bound to be something showing that you haven’t seen, or maybe might not, see again!
One of my good friends James Cullen Bressack is back this year with another of his films, the excellent and innovative To Jennifer, after making a huge splash last year with the controversial Hate Crime. Other highlights, for me, include Thanatamorphose, On Air, Home Sweet Home and The Butterfly Room.
