On September 22, 2007 as head coach of Oklahoma State, he had one of the most memorable post-game press conferences ever. After reading an article that criticized one of his players, he "went off" on the media for over three minutes, saying the article was "garbage" and three-fourths of it was "fiction". In the days following, video clips of the tirade were reportedly downloaded over 75,000 times from video streaming sites.
