Fábio Freitas(I)

Fabio Freitas was born in Vila Franca de Xira in 1987. Graduated in Audiovisuals and Multimedia at Escola Superior de Comunicacao Social, Lisbon (2010). He started his professional career in 2006 and since then he has been working in several entertainment programs, soap operas and TV series as a script supervisor - annotation. His first role in cinema was in 2013 as director of a short-film - Partir- film with 5 milhão views online. This first project was followed in 2014 by a new film - EDEN -, which as been selected into 38 festivals and won several awards, including the best film at the Reel It Out Film Festival in the USA and at Golden Woofs in Adelaide, Australia, just to mentioned a few. Fabio as the film director of that film has been despertado the prize Someone To Watch by CineEuphoria 2016. In 2017 he has directed his most recent project in cinema with - Exodus - debuting at Sose International Film Festival in Armenia, as well as the award for Best Actress for Carla Chambel for her performance as the main protagonist in the film.
