Fausto Rojas is a versatile professional in the world of theater and film in the Dominican Republic. Director, actor and educator. As an actor he has stood out in successful film productions distributed for international networks such as Fox, Prime Video, Cine Latino, Pantaya and Claro Video.
Among his most notable films are the TV series "Rubirosa", "Trópico", "Los medicasos", the films "La Bruja", "Un lío en Dollars", "Ovni", "El hoyo del diablo", among others. .
Since 2016, he has held the position of Director of the National Theater Company of the Dominican Republic. He has stood out as a theater director with award-winning works such as "The Last Character of Cecilia B" (nominated for Theatrical Actress at the Soberano Awards 2022), "Makandal" (Theatrical Actor PS 2022), "Omar y Los Demás" (Theatrical Actor and Work of the Year PS 2021) and "Yago, yo no soy que soy" (Theatrical director and Work of the Year PS 2018), the latter being the first Dominican theatrical production in the catalog of the Euro-Latin American Network of Performing Arts in 2019.
In addition to directing, he is a renowned actor, winner of the Casandra Award in 2012 for his performance in "Confession of a Mask." He is a graduate of the National School of Dramatic Arts and the Maine Media Workshops Film School in the United States (2008).
As a teacher, he has taught acting and directing classes at institutions such as the Intec University and the National School of Dramatic Art. He currently teaches Acting workshops at The Studio by Solly Duran. He has also played an important role as a coach for actors, working with renowned artists on projects such as "Rubirosa" (2018) and "Biodegradable" (2013).
