David E. Gold

David E. Gold is a graduate of California State University of
Northridge where he earned a degree in filmmaking with a focus on
cinematography and editing. While attending Cal State Northridge, David
directed the documentary "Angels," which focused on the work of Project
Angel Food (an AIDS assistance organization in the L.A. area) and was
the director of photography on the musical short film "You Ruined My
Career," which won an award at the Houston Film Festival.
In 1992 David was selected for one of the coveted Kodak sponsored internships at the Cannes Film Festival where he worked in video editing. In 1994 David's production work included unit Production management on several music videos. In 1996 David was the assistant director of photography on the theatrically released independent feature "Six String Samurai," in which he also had a principal role.
In 1997 David was Assistant Director on the USC student film "Flames in the Heart," which was Best Fiction Film in MediaOne's 1999 Student Film Festival.
In 1998, David co-produced and starred in the short film "Petty Thieves." Professionally, David worked as a BTS Producer on "The Sharon Osborne Show" and "The Larry Elder Show." He is currently an Assistant Editor on "The Tyra Banks Show."
