Tina Alexopoulou(I)

Tina Alexopoulou first studied at the National Drama School of Greece and continued in the Department of Theatre Studies of the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Athens. After winning first place in the scholarships for the theatre of the National Scholarship Foundation of Greece (IKY), she went on to complete a Master's degree in Performing Arts at the University of Exeter in England. She has performed four times in the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus (2011, 'Medea', 'Euripides' directed by Antonis Antypas, Aplo Theatro; 2010, 'Oedipus the Tyrant', 'Sophocles,' directed by Spiros Evaggelatos, Amfitheatro; 2004, 'Hippolytus', 'Euripides', directed by Vasilis Nikolaides, National Theatre of Greece; 2003, 'Ion', 'Euripides' directed by Lydia Koniordou, National Theatre of Greece). She has performed in the famous musical 'Annie', directed by T. Marsellou at the Acropol Theatre, and in many other musical performances. She has also participated in many TV series and film productions. In 2022, she starred in a movie that is in post-production and will be released in September 2023, directed by Renos Haralambidis. As a professional singer, Tina participated in the 2021 summer tour of the famous pop singer, Mihalis Hatzigiannis. In addition, she has created her own band with a large performance repertoire encompassing many different musical styles in eight different languages (Arabic, English, French, German, Greek, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish) She speaks 4 languages, English, French, German, and Greek. Tina and her band have performed at festivals, social events, and galas which have taken place in music venues such as the Casino du Liban in Beirut - Lebanon, the Four Seasons Hotel Alexandria - Egypt, Moscow - Russia, and venues all around Greece. In addition, Tina starred in a tour in France with the 'Melina Mercouri Tribute' and performed this in Paris, Nantes, Marseille, Nice, Saint Germain En Laye, Sarzeau, and Geneva! The tribute was also chosen to be presented in Athens at the French Institute of Greece, at the Inauguration Concert of the Month of Francophonie, 2019.
