Eric Mathis is the founder of Ondamax Films, a production company headquartered in the US with offices in Los Angeles, New York, Miami, Milan and Paris. His track record includes feature films, series, tv commercials, digital content and music videos.

Mr. Mathis' productions have featured prominent casts including George Clooney, Sean Connery, Penelope Cruz, Harrison Ford, James Franco, Halle Berry, Jean Reno, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Kev Adams, Franck Dubosc; world known athletes such as Michael Phelps, Neymar Jr., Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray as well as musicians, DJs and celebrities like Bebe Rexha, Status Quo, Johnny Hallyday, Booba, Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Hugh Hefner and Miranda Kerr, among others.
Ondamax has collaborated with various studios, production companies, networks & platforms including Europacorp, Studio Canal, Pathé, Netflix, Amazon Studios, HBO, Apple TV+, Universal, Showtime, Starz, etc.
Until 2014, Ondamax also had a distribution branch focusing on co-production and international sales of Latin American cinema. Among Ondamax's films were "Cochochi" co-produced by Diego Luna & Gael Garcia Bernal that premiered in Venice and won the Discovery Award in Toronto, "Drained" and "Perpetuum Mobile" respectively selected at Sundance and Cannes.
Prior to Ondamax, Mr. Mathis spent 10 years in Brazil where he founded Max Films. He then produced various tv shows and series, like "The Rio's Carnival" for RTL and "Exodes" for Canal+, and launched the local versions of the channels: "The Weather Channel" and "Fashion TV". He also distribute in Brazil hundreds of films including "Traffic" and "The Blair Witch Project".
Previously to this, Mr. Mathis distributed a catalog of 2,000+ films including multi-Oscar winning titles like "Leaving Las Vegas" or "The English Patient". Based out of Rio, his clients were distributors and tv networks all over Latin & North America.
A native of France, Mr. Mathis' career started in Europe as an Assistant Director. He holds a LLB and a Masters degree in Media Management from University Pantheon-Sorbonne. He is fluent in English, French, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese.
