Erica Rivera, an Atlanta resident, is a veteran singer, actress, dancer and songwriter since the age of seven. She has been stirring up the music and entertainment scene performing and acting worldwide. With the YouTube release of her new music video for the single "Elevation", Erica's catchy & captivating vocals are causing a buzz within the industry. With the views on YouTube in the thousands and climbing, "Elevation" is available on iTunes.
Born in Philadelphia, now living in Philadelphia by way of Orlando, Los Angeles, CA and Atlanta, Erica is no stranger to the spotlight. Already with a major tour in the United States and Europe by the age of 12 under her belt, previously signed to Atlantic Records and having a major recurring role as Bianca on the Disney Channel's TV show "That's So Raven" and "The Proud Family" plus several records on major motion picture soundtracks.
Erica got her start at the tender age of 7 when she landed a lead starring role at the Central Florida Theatre stage production of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". The Following month, she became a member of the well-known "Civic Kids" where she was part of a singing and acting youth troupe that performed all over the country. In the following years, the young singer performed all over the Florida and Regional areas performing in a variety of shows, concerts, functions, events, and fairs. At age 10, she was picked amongst thousands of kids to be a special guest on the "Jenny Jones" Show as a child performer. She has performed the National Anthem at numerous Orlando Magic games, toured Europe as part of the "YOU" Tour and won the McDonald's Regional Championship Talent Search to appear on "Showtime at the Apollo" as one of their child performers, all by the age of 12.
Her soulful mix of R&B, Pop and Urban sound has allowed her opportunities to work with some of the most esteem producers, writers and music executives such as Bryan Michael Cox, The Dream, Neyo, Keri Hilson, Kandi Burress and Sean Garrett to name a few. Having recorded with some of the most talented platinum selling producers and writers has given Erica the opportunity to develop relationships and her achievements thus far have left her humbled and excited about her future.
Erica's records have also been featured on several major motion picture soundtracks including Lionsgate "Akeelah and the Bee" and Warner Brothers "What A Girl Wants". Aside from being a talented singer, songwriter and actor, Erica also performed the voice-over for Agatha Ordinario on Disney's Animated TV show "The Proud Family". This is just the beginning of a successful singing, songwriting and acting career into 2011 and beyond.
Being a creative artist, Erica is following in her dad's footsteps as one of the best up and coming female tattoo artist in the area. She brings a distinctive artistic eye to her tattoo art.
