“Yellowstone” is back.
Taylor Sheridan’s phenomenally popular series, the most-watched show currently airing on television, returns on Sunday, Nov. 10. The new batch of episodes (six in total) serve as the second half of the show’s fifth season, which began way back in November 2022. Since then, the show has endured a very public feud with its star Kevin Costner, two strikes that shutdown Hollywood and a considerable amount of handwringing about what direction the series will ultimately take.
And while it appears that the mainline series is coming to an end, although that “final season” bit has been left out of the marketing materials for the second half of season 5 (so far), there will still be plenty to come from Sheridan’s considerable “Yellowstone” universe. These plans include a whole suite of “Yellowstone” spinoffs, which are somewhat confusing and difficult to parse through. But that’s why we’re here.

Fans of ‘Yellowstone’ will officially be saying their goodbyes to the show with the second part of season 5. While there were reports a season 6 was being discussed, the talks seem to have been dropped in favor of the modern-day spinoff ‘The Madison.’
Before ‘The Madison,’ reports had stated that series creator Taylor Sheridan was working on a new script, which will be led by Matthew McConaughey. Sadly, this seems not to be the case anymore and I’m yet to fully come to terms with that.
Happily, we’ve been promised a lot of great things when it comes to ‘The Madison,’ so much so we can’t help but wait patiently for it to drop.

The next Yellowstone spinoff, The Madison (formerly titled 2024) has added another cast member. As previously announced, the modern-day series will star Michelle Pfeiffer, Lost alum Matthew Fox, Patrick J. Adams of Suits, Firefly Lane alum Beau Garrett, Amiah Miller, and newcomer Elle Chapman. Now, Y: The Last Man alum Ben Schnetzer has joined the cast. He’s reportedly playing a rancher. Could he be The Madison‘s version of Rip Wheeler? Produced by MTV Entertainment Studios, 101 Studios and Bosque Ranch Productions, The Madison is the next installment from the Yellowstone universe and Taylor Sheridan. Pfeiffer will star and executive produce. Paramount previously confirmed that The Madison and 2024 will not be two separate series as had been rumored. Kurt Russell has also been rumored to be attached to the series, though that casting still remains speculation. Here’s the latest on the new series. What is Yellowstone‘s The Madison about?...

Ben Schnetzer is the latest addition to the cast of the “Yellowstone” spinoff series “The Madison,” Variety has learned exclusively.
Schnetzer will appear in Taylor Sheridan’s new series alongside previously announced cast members Michelle Pfeiffer, Patrick J. Adams, Elle Chapman, Matthew Fox, Beau Garrett and Amiah Miller. Schnetzer will play Van, described as “a salt-of-the-earth and neighborly Montana rancher.”
“The Madison” was previously in development under the title “2024.” Per the official logline, the show is a “heartfelt study of grief and human connection following a New York City family in the Madison River valley of central Montana.” It is not yet clear if the show will debut exclusively on Paramount+ or start off on Paramount Network like “Yellowstone.”
Schnetzer was recently cast alongside Lily James in the upcoming biopic about the founder of Bumble. He has also wrapped production on the feature “The Yellow Tie,” a biopic about renowned Romanian conductor Sergiu Celibidache.

The premiere of the final season of Yellowstone is just a little over a month away, but a new featurette reveals the increased security measures taken to ensure that no spoilers were leaked. This will be the first batch of episodes released without Kevin Costner as John Dutton, so clearly, the production wants to keep the ultimate fate of his character under wraps.
The featurette includes cast and crew discussing how “secretive” this final season has been. “On one hand, it was a big family reunion coming back, and on the other, it was a new set of challenges,” said director Christina Voros. “There was a lot of security around the script and the narrative. It’s a huge testament to the intrepidness of the crew, because you’ve learned how to do something a certain way for seven years and all of a sudden to have a new set...

Now that Costner is not slated to return, it looks like there may indeed be talks of a sixth season of the neo-western series, this time starting Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser who play Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler. Initially, it was thought that they were going to head over to The Madison, the upcoming Yellowstone sequel, but they may be staying in their old stomping grounds for a time yet now that the family patriarch, John Dutton III is effectively out of the picture.

“Yellowstone” is almost back. The Paramount Network series has revealed a first teaser for the long-awaited second half of Season 5.
The beloved Paramount Network series, created by Taylor Sheridan — which has been running reruns on CBS — first launched in 2018. It has since become a cable phenomenon.
The eight-episode first half of Season 5 aired from November 2022 to January 2023; the six-episode second half is set to debut on Nov. 10, 2024.
Paramount Network released a short teaser for the second part of Season 5 on Friday. “Legacy. You build something worth havin’. Someone’s gonna try to take it,” Kevin Costner’s John Dutton narrates in the beginning of the video.
“What I’m doing isn’t for the ranch. It’s for us,” Cole Hauser’s Rip says, as Kelly Reilly’s Beth Dutton pulls out a knife from somewhere. There are also quick shots of FBI agents raiding a building, droves of horseback riders and tense conversations.

Yellowstone Season 6 is reportedly a possibility with Kelly Reilly‘s Beth Dutton and Cole Hauser‘s Rip Wheeler said to be the focus. Truly, if the show were to continue without Kevin Costner beyond Season 5, this was the only way to keep fans invested (if John Dutton’s departure hadn’t made them give up on the show already). A new report from Puck News, an industry newsletter that was one of the earliest to report on the apparent rift between Costner and series creator/writer Taylor Sheridan, states that Yellowstone Season 6 will happen with Reilly and Hauser set to lead. The series was previously announced to be ending with Season 5, and other reports said it was possible that Reilly and Hauser and Luke Grimes (Kacey Dutton) were in talks to reprise their roles in the new modern-day spinoff The Madison (which will star Michelle Pfeiffer, Matthew Fox, Patrick J. The Madison is expanding its cast so find out who is joining the new Yellowstone spinoff!
Yellowstone fans are still in flux regarding the fate of the show. The massive Paramount TV hit has had some major upheaval with star Kevin Costner departing after problems with creator Taylor Sheridan. This has led to the upcoming second half of Season 5 being the last for the show.
There had been plans for a continuation with most of the cast and Matthew McConaughey as the new star, but that's still up in the air. However, the network is going ahead with The Madison, a new drama set in the same universe as Yellowstone.
The show focuses on "a heartfelt study of grief and human connection following a New York City family in the Madison River valley of central Montana." It sounds like a classic cultural clash between the posh New Yorkers and the residents of the state.

The legacy of Kurt Russell is immutable in its scale and grandeur. The actor who worked with Walt Disney melted the hardened emotions of Charles Bronson and developed a lifelong friendship with the Hollywood giant was a force of his own. The on-screen legacy of the actor, from Westerns to Marvel to Monsterverse stands as a calling card of a movie star who is as relevant in his 70s as he was in his teens.

When it was announced that the hit television series "Yellowstone" would be coming to an end following its fifth season, fans at least knew that they'd have the already-announced spin-offs to look forward to. Unfortunately, the end of "Yellowstone" also meant the end of star Kevin Costner's time on the Western show, who instead pivoted to his own "Horizon: An American Saga" series of Western films. Would the "Yellowstone" name and the goodwill generated after five successful seasons be enough to sustain these spin-offs without the star? Well, when one barn door closes, another opens, and in the wake of Costner's exit, Kurt Russell, Michelle Pfeiffer, and "Suits" star Patrick J. Adams have answered the call. First reported by TVLine, the "Yellowstone" spin-off known as "2024" is set to be retitled "The Madison," and is allegedly going to follow matriarch Stacy Clyburn and her family after they relocate from New York to Montana.

Yellowstone will be coming to an epic conclusion with its upcoming final season, but the franchise will continue with a new spinoff that is attracting some big names. It has previously been rumoured that Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell have been in talks to star in the new series, and TVLine reports that Patrick J. Adams (Suits) is in talks to join them.
A Paramount Network representative declined to comment on the report, but the outlet states that the deals for Pfeiffer, Russell, and Adams are close to being finalized. They also added a few potential plot details for the spinoff. Once known as 2024, the Yellowstone spinoff is now “tentatively” titled The Madison and is “rumoured to follow wealthy matriarch Stacy Clyburn and her family as they leave New York City and head to Montana in the wake of her husband and brother-in-law’s tragic deaths in a plane crash.

Some TV shows are built to last, but The Good Doctor is not one of them.
The ABC medical drama kicked off in 2017 and delivered compelling cases. That's the bare minimum required for a medical drama nowadays, but the biggest problem for the series has been its inability to keep its cast.
Long-running shows tend to lose cast members as the years go on, but The Good Doctor has never really been able to bounce back from losses in the early seasons.
One of the most shocking -- and horrifically written -- exits involved Nicholas Gonzalez's hunky Dr. Neil Melendez succumbing to injuries he sustained in an earthquake.
It was very Grey's Anatomy, but unlike that show, The Good Doctor has struggled to find replacements for prominent characters who stand the test of time.
Killing Melendez was one of the most controversial deaths on TV in recent memory because...

It's been an emotional journey for Kate (Sarah Chalke) and Tully (Katherine Heigl), but will their friendship withstand more hurdles?
Netflix has unveiled the official trailer for the back half of Firefly Lane Season 2, which will bring the dramedy to an end for good.

"That's the thing about big life changes; you don't get to choose when they happen," Johnny Ryan shared in the new trailer. "You just have to hold on tight to the people you love and make your way through it."
