Born and raised in London, England. The daughter of an Italian
Animation Director and an American Artist, Miranda Cristofani started
her love affair with film and art at an early age, directing and
staring in her own orange juice commercial at age 6. Leaving London at
age 18, and after graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drawing
and Painting and a Minor in film from CSU Long Beach, she moved to Los
Angeles in 2000 where she started her career in commercials and music videos,
and worked her way up to Art Direct and Production Design.
Miranda has Directed and DP'd three short films. 'Stupas of Rigzing Ling' takes place in Rigzin Ling, a Tibetan Buddhist retreat in Junction city California, and documents the process of the sacred and time-honored construction of a row of Stupas (dome shapes shrines) on their land. 'The Eye of the Ange' l is a documentary about artist and peace advocate Lin Evola-Smidt and her Peace Angel Project. Lin melts down guns and casts them into magnificent sculptured monuments called ''Peace Angels."
Mirandas painting and photography has appeared and sold in many solo and group exhibits in Long Beach and Los Angeles. She has directed and curated her own group show highlighting 13 local artists.
Miranda is the Creative Director of Junior visionaries, a non profit organization dedicated to empowering youth's creativity in the areas of media and digital storytelling.
Miranda resides in Silverlake, Los Angeles, California where she is living life to the fullest with her beautiful and inspiring son.
