Suits is returning — but this time, it’s leaving the Big Apple behind and is heading to the West Coast.

NBC has released the official trailer for Suits: LA, a spinoff of the beloved drama series Suits, which aired on USA Network from 2011 to 2019 and starred Patrick J. Adams and the now Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle. Stephen Amell leads Suits: LA as Ted Black, a former New York prosecutor who now runs his own firm in Los Angeles.

The logline reads: “His firm is at a crisis point, and to survive he must embrace a role he held in contempt his entire career. Ted is surrounded by a stellar group of characters who test their loyalties to both Ted and each other while they can’t help but mix their personal and professional lives.”

“Suits LA” has added three new guest stars.

Variety has learned exclusively that Patton Oswalt, Brian Baumgartner, and Enrico Colantoni are all set to appear in the first season of the NBC legal drama. All three will play a version of themselves.

The trio join previously announced guest stars like Maggie Grace, Matt Letscher, Sofia Pernas, and Carson A. Egan. The main cast of “Suits LA” includes Stephen Amell, Lex Scott Davis, Josh McDermitt, and Bryan Greenberg. It was also reported that “Suits” star Gabriel Macht will appear in a multi-episode arc of “Suits LA” as well.

The roles mark returns to NBC for Oswalt, Baumgartner, and Colantoni, as all three have previously starred in NBC comedies — “AP Bio” for Oswalt, “The Office” for Baumgartner, and “Just Shoot Me” for Colantoni.

Hallmark’s latest Countdown To Christmas movie is Confessions Of A Christmas Letter. What is this movie about? According to TV Insider, Settie Rose admits she is quirky. She is the matriarch of a very dysfunctional family that she loves. But, she cannot write about her family members in any sort of entertaining way. Every year, she loses the town’s Christmas letter writing competition.

We generally don’t expect sitcom cast members to be involved in global political controversies, hence why stories about the Cuban Missile Crisis featured zero references to Rob and Laura Petrie from The Dick Van Dyke Show. But earlier this year, it was reported that an alleged Russian disinformation campaign targeting the former Soviet republic of Moldova enlisted the help of Dunder Mifflin’s resident accountant/chili handler Kevin Malone, aka actor Brian Baumgartner.

This week, Moldova held a national referendum and ultimately voted to pursue membership in the European Union. The “Yes” vote passed by “the slimmest of margins” — just 50.39 percent. Actress Angela Kinsey is set to star in her very first Hallmark Channel Christmas movie, Confessions of a Christmas Letter. The actress herself admitted that the movie reflects a part of her real-life holiday traditions. The project will also be the first time Kinsey, best known for her work on The Office, headlined a Hallmark Christmas movie.

A Holiday Story Of Mix-Ups, Misunderstandings, & Writer’s Block

In the film, Kinsey will play Settie Rose, an eccentric family matriarch who competes in her town’s yearly letter-writing contest.

Settie has some special help, a struggling novelist named Juan, who she hopes will help her write the winning holiday letter.

However, a rumor starts up that Juan is going to marry Settie’s daughter Lily. The family decides to play along with the mix-up. All the while Juan overcomes his writer’s block while Settie learns to embrace her family as they are.

As Juan bonds with the Roses and overcomes his writer’s block, Settie learns that embracing her imperfect family is what truly makes her story special,” Deadline shared via a synopsis.

The new offshoot of The Office has added three to its cast. According to Deadline, Melvin Gregg, Chelsea Frei, and Ramona Young are joining the previously cast Sabrina Impacciatore and Domhnall Gleeson. Peacock ordered the yet-to-be titled comedy in May.

The new mockumentary series from Greg Daniels and Michael Koman will be set in the same universe as The Office. That series aired for nine seasons on NBC. The series starred Steve Carell, Rainn Wilson, John Krasinski, Jenna Fischer, B. J.
