Marie Mouté is a Swiss/French actress. She was born in Paris and raised between Switzerland, the USA and France.
She is bilingual in English as she spent part of her childhood in New-York.
She made her acting debut by leading the acclaimed French TV series La vie devant nous (2002).
Her acting career includes various leads in TV series and movies, as well as parts in film features such as Housewarming (2005) with Carole Bouquet, The Perfect Son-in-Law? 2 (2010) with François Berléand, Mongeville (2013).
In 2008/2009, Marie played in the famous Theatre comedy "Oscar" by Claude Magnier. The production received great reviews, and toured all around France, Switzerland, Belgium and Tunisia. The play also performed at the Debussy Theatre of the Palais des Festivals in Cannes (season 2008/2009) which hosts the Cannes film Festival every year.
In 2014, she was cast by Abel Ferrara to play Gérard Depardieu 's daughter in Welcome to New York (2014) alongside Jacqueline Bisset.
