Bradley Estrin-Barks is a biracial Filipino American writer from San Francisco, CA. As the child of an immigrant, and as a queer person torn between dueling cultures within his bi-religious family, themes of "otherness" and "belonging" are as much woven into the fabric of Bradley's DNA as they are the stories he crafts. He writes character driven drama, grounded sci-fi and elevated fantasy about outsiders who straddle worlds and fight for their identities, often drawing creative influence from an eclectic well of lives he lived prior to writing - he's been an internationally ranked martial arts champion, a porn camera operator, a counselor, a public health expert, and he was once American Idol's first AAPI Top 30 finalist. After earning a degree in Film & TV from San Francisco State University and furthering his craft at Script Anatomy, his first pilot earned him a coveted spot in the ViacomCBS Writers Mentoring Program. Bradley was staffed on The CW's 4400, and he was recently named by The Tracking Board as one of thirty strongest up-and-coming writers emerging across TV and film in their annual Next List (2022). He is repped by The Gersh Agency and The Gotham Group.
