"Every mistake you make, you make it for a reason." 4Digital Media has released a new trailer for a post-apocalyptic survival horror film titled Hostile, from French filmmaker Mathieu Turi making his directorial debut. We posted a slick teaser trailer for this last fall, and finally have another new trailer to promote its upcoming Us release in September this year. Not to be confused with the Christian Bale western Hostiles, this film is about a woman, played by Brittany Ashworth, who is a survivor of an apocalypse and ends up crashing her truck while driving around. She wakes up at night, and must battle strange creatures that roam the wastelands in the dark. The cast includes Grégory Fitoussi, Javier Botet, Jay Benedict, and David Gasman. Mathieu Turi's post-apocalyptic yarn Hostile continues a film festival run. The film is slated for appearances in New York and Los Angeles, via the New York City Horror Film Festival and the Shriekfest Horror Film Festival. A trailer has just been released for the film. The clip shows Juliet (Brittany Ashworth) struggling in a desolate world. At night, deformed creatures hound her. Also, the film stars: Grégory Fitoussi (World War Z), Javier Botet and David Gasman. Thriller fans can find the first trailer here. Story details mostly remain in mystery. However, the synopsis mentions an "apocalyptic era" and " [Juliet's] fight to survive." The trailer shows more of Juliet's struggles as she searches for gas and supplies. Events come to a head in the desert, with Juliet facing off against a monster.
