Imagine having Rihanna fangirling over you. On Thursday night, the Fenty Beauty mogul (and on-hiatus musician) swooned over Billie Eilish’s music, several weeks after Eilish freaked out that Rih name-checked her as a “dream collaborator.”
“Billie Eilish, she knows me?” Rihanna told the Access Hollywood interviewer. “She is the most Anti, coolest girl ever. In my mind, she doesn’t listen to commercial music, or anyone’s music.”
“She’s creating her diary… vocally,” Rihanna added. “You can feel that she’s zoned into who she is and what she’s experienced,...

Rihanna has widely been credited for being one of the most influential artists of all time, globally regarded as the best-selling female recording artist of the 21st century by Guinness World Records as well as the second wealthiest in the world. For an era, the singer’s music has appeased fans and even set some amazing records for her while making her the recipient of numerous awards.

But it seems like the star is done with glitz and glamour of the music industry, per fan speculation. This comes in the wake of the businesswoman cum actress’ latest comments, which inevitably hint she might want to focus more on her other ventures.

Georgian Anti-Putin Film ‘The Antique’ Allowed To Screen At Venice After Emergency Decree Overturned
Georgian anti-Putin drama The Antique, which has its Venice debut suspended after a copyright complaint, is now free to screen at this year’s festival.
The U-turn was confirmed this afternoon by the festival. The film will screen on September 6. The decision will be discussed tomorrow at a public meeting in Venice with the filmmaker Rusudan Glurjidze, Venice Days President Francesco Ranieri Martinotti, Artistic Director Gaia Furrer, and attorney Fabio Moretti.
The Antique had its screenings suspended last week after an emergency decree was filed on behalf of Russian and Croatian producers claiming copyright issues with the screenplay. The claims were contested by the film’s Georgian producers and its sales agent MPM International, while the Italian media, which first reported the suspension, is suggesting the move to prevent the film screening is politically motivated.

Updated with further details: Georgian anti-Putin drama The Antique, which was due to premiere in Venice parallel section Giornate degli Autori (GdA), has had its screenings suspended following the issuing of an emergency decree on behalf of Russian and Croatian producers claiming copyright issues with the screenplay.
These claims are contested by the film’s Georgian producers and its sales agent MPM International, while the Italian media, which first reported the suspension, is suggesting the move to prevent the film screening is politically motivated.
The drama takes inspiration from the real-life illegal expulsion of thousands of Georgian nationals from Russia in 2006, which included the film’s director Rusudan Glurjidze.
The deportations were part of the so-called 2006 Georgian–Russian espionage controversy, sparked by Georgia’s arrest of a number of Russian military officers on charges of espionage and terrorism, when Vladimir Putin was in his first term as Russian president.

The main purpose behind the creation of the monumental crossover event of DC comics, Crisis on Infinite Earths, was to streamline DC’s ever-expanding roster of characters from the past fifty years and create a sense of cohesiveness in the process. Helmed by two of the greatest creative minds in comics literature, Marv Wolfman and George Perez, Crisis on Infinite Earths went on to become a pioneering comic epic and championed everything the iconic characters of the franchise stood for. The animated movie trilogy, which concluded with the recently released third part, might have different motivations, character arcs, and altered narrative structure, but in the end, it honors the spirit of its source material by adhering to the final resolution of the series. Like its comics counterpart, the Crisis on Infinite Earths movie trilogy is a story about bringing an end to beloved sagas but also about new beginnings, and...

As the third act in a trilogy of animated films based on the beloved DC comic series Crisis on Infinite Earths, Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths Part Three had big shoes to fill. It was tasked with wrapping up storylines from the iconic 1985–1986 miniseries as well as over a decade of DC animated movies.
An epic tale spanning countless worlds, the comic’s plot saw the Anti-Monitor threaten to wipe out the entire multiverse. Now it is up to the animated sequel to pull everything together in a climactic and satisfying conclusion.
Part Three picks up where the previous film left off, with our heroes scrambling after Supergirl is manipulated into killing the powerful Monitor. Stranded outside of the normal space-time continuum in a dimension called the Bleed, they watch helplessly as the Anti-Monitor’s devastating antimatter waves begin consuming reality.
Their only hope is splicing together a plan utilizing survivors from different worlds.

The third time is indeed the charm, as after the first two parts of the lackluster animated movie adaptation of Marv Wolfman and George Perez’s seminal work Crisis on Infinite Earths, the makers have finally got the recipe right with the final part. Tomorrowverse might not have found a strong reception among seasoned DC fans, but it surely will be remembered for its concluding chapter, as despite taking creative liberties, Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths – Part Three stays true to the core of its source material by reverberating the universal, or, shall we say, multiversal, message of hope! In the Flashpoint comics, there was a really well-placed memorable quote about acceptance, which once again gets reiterated in the climactic moments of the final entry of Tomorrowverse. Worlds lived. Worlds died. And the multiverse was truly never the same.

Sabrina Carpenter’s songs don’t sound too much like Rihanna‘s. However, the “Please Please Please” singer said one Rihanna track was a huge influence on her because of its rhythm. Interestingly, the tune in question appeared on what might be Rihanna’s most important album.
Sabrina Carpenter revealed why she looks up to Rihanna so much
During a 2018 interview with Teen Vogue, Carpenter named several songs that inspired her. One of the more recent tracks she mentioned was “Consideration” by Rihanna and Sza. “This actually really inspired my approach of writing my third album,” the “Nonsense” singer said. “It was the unstructured rhythm that I loved that just made it go a little bit like, oh, I wasn’t expecting that, which is kind of what Rihanna’s always done as an artist to me, which is why I look up to her so much.”
The “Espresso” singer made some jokes about Rihanna.

Typical. You wait years for a movie about a teenage American nun who becomes mysteriously pregnant when she travels to an Italian nunnery and then two come along at once. Consequently, The First Omen – a prequel to the 1976 horror classic – has had its thunder stolen somewhat by Michael Mohan’s excellent Sydney Sweeney-starring nunsploitation picture Immaculate (which is still in cinemas), but still delivers its fair share of tense atmospherics, jump scares and impressive body horror.
The film begins in 1971, with virginal young American novice Margaret (Nell Tiger Free) travelling to Rome, where she’s met by kindly Cardinal Lawrence (Bill Nighy), before beginning her apprenticeship at the Vizzardeli Orphanage, where she will eventually take her vows. Soon, Margaret’s...

The concept of the Kevin Smith horror movie Tusk came out of an episode of Smith’s SModcast podcast in which he and his co-host Scott Mosier started out joking about the idea of a walrus-themed body horror movie and then, in the midst of the banter, Smith was inspired to actually make the movie. (And I’m very thankful that he did.) Smith’s horror anthology KillRoy Was Here started out in a similar way. It has its roots in an episode of the Edumacation podcast, where Smith and co-host Andy McElfresh “accidentally brainstormed a Christmas horror anthology” that would revolve around the child-eating creature known as Krampus. Smith and McElfresh wrote a script and were moving ahead with the film, which was first called Comes the Krampus! and then re-titled Anti-Claus, but then it got abandoned when Michael Dougherty’s Krampus movie was released. It only sat dormant...

“The Boys” ramped up its outrageousness in every way possible in its latest, third season— from, uh, a shrunken man venturing into a human orifice to Jensen Ackles‘ emergence as the Amazon Prime Video show’s satirical take on Captain America (Steve Rogers)… Soldier Boy.

For most of her career, Rihanna had been making hit after hit — from her 2005 debut, Pon de Replay, to her 2007 Grammy-winning single, Umbrella, and her 2016 No. 1 hit, Work. However, after reaching what many perceived to be her artistic pinnacle with her last album Anti, the pop superstar seemed to have disappeared from the music industry.
It’s been seven long years since Rihanna released an album, and fans have been waiting with bated breath for her next musical offering. But as it turns out, the Diamonds singer has a relatable reason for waiting this long to release a new album.

In "Violent Night," David Harbour plays a Santa Claus who isn't afraid to knock back a beer or head-butt someone who's naughty. If that doesn't sell itself as a movie premise, I don't know what would. The "Stranger Things" star has hidden his face under red demon makeup before (see: "Hellboy"), but in "Violent Night," Harbour is donning a red stocking cap and grey beard, in service of "seasons beatings." And just because it's an action comedy doesn't mean he went into the role of Santa without doing some research.
Santa Claus as we know him has a long history dating back at least 200 years, when the poem "A Visit from St. Nicholas" (now commonly known as "The Night Before Christmas") was published. The real Saint Nicholas and other historical antecedents like Father Christmas date back even further than that poem, by centuries. Harbour was conscious of this history when...
