Mario Ramirez Reyes

Mario Ramirez Reyes, born in Mexico City, is a multifaceted performer known for his work in film and television. He is an actor, comedian, writer, and director, with notable credits including "Sabotage," "The Price of the American Dream," "No Hay Derecho Joven," and "El Culebrero." Ramirez' mother is a gold medal-winning, visually-impaired archer at the Paralympic Games in Mexico. His father was a police commander who initially opposed his career in show business, but became supportive after seeing his exceptional comedic talent. In the 1990s, Ramirez rose to prominence as a comedian and impressionist, headlining the popular Mexican extravaganza "El Show de las Estrellas." This show broke attendance records in Mexico, Panama, Peru, and California, and was attended by many of the personalities Ramirez impersonated, including legendary comedian Antonio Espino "Clavillazo," who gave Ramirez the nickname "El Comodín de las Estrellas" (The Joker of the Stars) in recognition of his versatility.
