Chiara Bordi

Chiara Bordi was born in Tarquinia, Viterbo, on September 1, 2000.
She graduates from the classical high school in 2019, and on the same year she begins her BA in Orthopedic Techniques, in the Faculty of Medicine and Psychology, at the University of Sapienza.
In 2018, when she is just 18, she participates at the Miss Italy's competition, in which she will qualify third on the national tv show on September 18, 2018.
The reason why she decided to participate at the beauty contest, was to show people how diversity is a feature of strength, not a flaw, and that her life was never broken by the accident in which she lost her left leg, only 13 years old.
After her attendance at Miss Italy, her career begins: she is hosted in various Italian and internationlas tv shows and radio programs. She shot a commercial for Lycra, and she also hosted many events about "inclusivity" in Italy and around the world (China and Thailand) and she was
also a speaker for the TEDx in Salerno.
In 2019 she is awarded with the "Alfiere della Repubblica" honor by the Italian Presiden of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella. The award decorates young people who stood out as communities builders through their testimony, strive and courageous actions.
On the same year, with two friends also victims of car accidents, she founds the "Bionic People", an association whose mission is to help, inform and spread courage to people with a special condition as Chiara.
On 2021 she enters the main cast of the tv series PRISMA, directed by Ludovico Bessegato and produced by Amazon Studios and Cross Productions.
