Aaron Symonds has always been passionate about both film and music. Specialising in the animation and drama, his scoring combines a sensitivity to the drama of a scene with a strong cinematic sensibility, musically telling a story that brings out the emotions and characterisations of the film.
His most recent project was Dreamtopia; a re-imagined animated Barbie movie for Mattel which premiered on Nickelodeon and is going to series. Other projects include the ensemble drama I Want To Be Alone, the teenage coming-of-age drama I Can, I Will, I'll Do with Selenis Leyva (Orange Is The New Black), Senior Project with Vanessa Marano (Switched At Birth).
Aaron has also provided music production for studio projects such as Despicable Me 2 (NBCUniversal), The Smurfs (Sony), Beverly Hills Chihuahua (Disney), Curious George 2 (NBCUniversal), George of the Jungle 2 (Disney), Exorcist: In The Beginning (Warner Bros), Coach Carter (Paramount), and the Dreamworks / TNT mini-series Into The West for executive producer Steven Spielberg.
